Very informative video! I’ve always wanted to handstrip my dogs. Covid messed us up. We did manage to find grooming, but I dont like how they do the pet Scotties in the shops. They’re still both very young (2 and 1) - so perhaps it’s not too late for me to try. This dog seemed to tolerate it’s first time pretty well. Oh and Thanks so much for the links for the products used! :) I’m gonna check them out.

Kitty, Your videos are amazing with wonderful information; and loved all of the computerized diagrams and camera angles. I am a retired professional groomer and showed Scotties and Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. I never knew how much to charge for stripping a Scotty. Is the price for two visits? Are the two visits separate prices? Can you say how much you charged for Sully? My body can’t take grooming anymore and if I got another Scotty wanted to know what to expect for a price. They are so helpful and your explanations are clear and explained very well, I especially like the back-up diagrams and that the videos are divided into segments. hello , thank you for your Question . Can i ask how old your dog is ? I advice to handstrip him every week , a little bit . to get it flat . Sometimes also this is a genetic thing . Or on the other hand , it's because the coat is broken , by cutting the hairs instead of handstripping . It can have so many reasons . Please let us know if we can help you further . Thank you

Handstripping is wire coat , or a Scottie , is a piece of art . yes, it takes some time to make it looking nice . but this is the job of a professional groomer or breeder. as an owner , you know if you have a scottie and you want it handstripped , you have to learn it , or take it to a groomer . @@Anon_E_Muss I wonder if Majia Smith is talking about another groomer? There is one on a video that even gets angery at owners and dogs as she yells at video and at the dogs. I feel sorry for the dogs they are so quiet and can't see through their hair over their eyes and are helpless. Her voice is so loud it even affects the readers of vedio. Also, constantly trying to sell products insstead of getting to the groomer.
