This one screams 1973. It appears to have been abandoned since then but the furnace is up to date. Someone liked their originality. Thanks for the tour Brandon! 👍🤠

I love the master bedroom and the wall paper all over the entryway & up the stairs (I can't tell the color for sure. Black & white?) As an 80's kid, I wouldn't change much of anything aesthetically if I owned that house today. ♥️♥️♥️

Personally, I call this couch "Balboa done conquering Philadelphia". That's how aggressively patriotic it looks If you look at how space age futurism handled the living rooms of private places, these couch arcs were everywhere, and the biggest ones were sometimes nestled into the floor as they took on a full circle shape! No sane interior designer use them anymore out of pragmatism like "Who even receive that many guests to fully occupy these mammoths, anyway?".

This house takes me way back. 12:32 even these lattice closet panels aren't in trend anymore. I don't think I have ever seen them used in modern interior design. It's mad!

Wow, so many different styles inside. I was 12 in 1974 so I have some insight. That curved red, white and blue couch is very 1971-72 and belongs in the movie "A Clockwork Orange". Yes, the kitchen looked like they were trying very hard for a special look. I have never seen lights like those. The bedroom upstairs with all the shelves in the one wall is amazing because all the shapes are different sizes ! And the big living room is beautiful for a nice cocktail party. I wonder why such a great home was not saved.

Very cool place. You are so sweet to apologize to your viewers about the vandalism and such. Of course you don’t have to do that but it shows how much you care about your fans. And I am definitely a fan, my adopted son! 😊 you did a great job showing this. And I for one, know you do not stage stuff. The wallpaper in some of the rooms is crazy. I was trying to figure that out too. Looks like an old Knight or Harman / Kardon, but then again Canada had some gear we don’t have in the US. I’ll bet there was a turntable under all the junk on top too, and it looks like the speakers went in the cabinets with the grille cloth on them. Very cool!

Brandon All the wallpaper certainly is from the groovy decade of the 70’s. Fortunately I did see this house from another explorer and you are correct about there only being 2 beds in that room. The 2 beds had pillows and bedspreads on them. They were made up by who ever left the house. It’s a shame what those stupid vandals did to this beauty. This is what happens when the owners don’t secure the house against anyone going in there and that includes you explorers. Now I know most of you would not steal anything but you know some would. That red, white and blue couch remind me of the beautiful American flag. I’m proud of the flag of my country. I don’t know if I told you I am from Long Island New York. We don’t have abandon neighborhoods around here. Anyway I liked your version of this house and appreciate you sharing it with all of us. See you in the next one until then stay safe and well.👍🆒

Hey the basement looked like a disco! I can picture people dancing in front of all those mirrors as they played the disco music. That plaid wall paper would make you dizzy especially when they put it on the ceiling too. Wish we could go back in time to see what it looked like when it was originally built and decorated.......🤔

Great Explore, Brandon. I remember some other explorers would visit and revisit this house every year or so and each time they return it gets rougher and rougher. Glad you liked the house, personally I don’t see why anyone would decorate so specifically. If you wanted or needed to sell it, the chances of finding a buyer with the same tastes would be very small. Of course decorate the way you like it, but keep things in preceptive, do some Retro but make it so that you can switch styles without having to rip everything out. However I guess if you’ve got the money, you don’t worry too much about the future. But thanks for showing it to us.

I would bet the last owner ran or owned a strip club. That basement area with the red white and blue circular seat was straight out of a strip club. The whole area was set up for show and tell dancing entertainment. Multi facet mirrors to see the action.

If you watch videos prior to it being vandalized you may get a different impression on the room. When I originally saw it years ago I thought it was a kids playroom. It would make sense seeing the adukts had the large room upstairs that seemed to be set up as a music / entertaining room per older videos.
