Die Anatomie des menschlichen Körpers faszinierte mich vor über 60 Jahren als Student. Ein Wunderwerk der Natur wird mit diesen Videos als Lehrmittel realistisch dargestellt.

To better understand the anatomical position of the spleen and its relations, hold the spleen in your left hand so that the diaphragmatic surface faces the palm of hand and the thumb touches the splenic notch. In this way you can easily identify the three impressions of the visceral surface namely gastric (superiorly), renal (inferiorly) and colic (anteriorly) impressions.

6:20 Isn't it supposed to be the "Common Hepatic Duct" and not the "Bile Duct" that is a part of the portal triad? The Bile Duct occurs when the Cystic Duct and Common Hepatic Duct join so it's inferior to both these structures; therefore it doesn't pass through the porta hepatis and is not a part of the portal triad. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
@akram.jaffar8 жыл бұрын
+LiNingAir The term "bile duct" which is used here is a general term to indicate biliary passages and is not specific for the bile duct (common bile duct) which is formed by the union of common hepatic and cystic duct. Similarly, in histological descriptions, the term "bile duct" is used to describe ductules that together with a branch of portal vein and hepatic artery form portal tract at the corners of the hepatic lobules.

Hello Dr Akbar. Thank you for the excellent video. I have question. What is the relationship of the left adrenal gland to the body of the pancreas? Is the pancreas anterior or inferior to it?
@akram.jaffar Жыл бұрын
The body of the pancreas is anterior to the hilum of the left kidney, thus it is inferior to the bulk of the left suprarenal gland; however, because the left suprarenal is more crescentic than pyramidal, a small and negligible narrow part of one end of the crescent might be located posterior to the pancreas. Thanks for your interest in the channel.
