Imagine if the US remained on bimetallism; we would have volatility in the market economy prices would be more competitive at the same time industries financial entities would compete for resources like precious metals, lithium, cadmium, cobalt, copper, magnesium, beryllium, tungsten, Rhodium, bismuth, ruthenium, uranium and Germanium. With more price stability than today. Taxes would be high but craftsmanship and workmanship would be better rewarded. Addam Smith would be concluded right and justified. However poverty would be less so and super rich as well. We wouldn't be at so often because that would be too expensive. Recycling would be better. We wouldn't have a higher life expectancy but we would be healthier because responsibility would be 4 times more costly.🤔

Well, here I actually disagree a bit. Beginning shortly after this era--the 1960s--TV advertising went to another level of creativity and humor. Today I actually enjoy a really creative ad, like the Budweiser "You Da Man!"[1980s] or McDonalds "You ate his face?", just to name two. There is no other value, their products stink and I never ever buy any of their products, at least almost never.

Groucho got the question on the Sistine Chapel wrong too. It is not in Rome, but in Vatican City. The guests on these shows are so much more real and entertaining than the bots that show up on today's talk shows.
