I’ve seen this done and they nearly always go into an adjacent property . Do the neighbours get compensated or do they get paid later if they decide to do groundwork’s ?

Why would you use a single strand jack on a multi strand anchor...?
@razg22364 жыл бұрын
To ensure equal distribution of load.
@findlayrankin97693 жыл бұрын
More control over individual cables.L because they could have slightly different safe load/breaking points even if all was installed correctly best to be safe.

Are there any curing done, or additional mixture before stressing?
@razg22364 жыл бұрын
The operator holding his hand against the jack at the time of stressing is a No No (not safe)!

why not use multi jack when stressed..? if using multi jack, strand tension will be the same
@findlayrankin97693 жыл бұрын
Multi jack would be expensive first of all. Single is less likely to cause issues and gives you more control of individual cables. If one cable is already stressed more than the others using a multi jack would apply the same pressure “on the already stressed cable” as the ones with less stress. This could cause that one cable to deteriorate faster after the jobs done or snap completely whilst the press is still on all three cables.

As far as I know this anchor plate should have the same angle with the anchor rod.
