Awesome video !!! Loved it and I subscribed. My husband while going to school ran into a possum and the possum didn't play possum and showed every tooth in it's mouth and the hair raised on it's back straight up and my husband immediately exited the scene. Thanks for sharing the cool video.

They show their death while playing dead. Very weird looking animals. There are videos of people handling them - carefully but they're not very ferocious.

@@survivormary1126 Ground hogs are very destructive to a garden. Skunks however are always welcomed. I love for them to visit. They are a docile animal if you don't move quickly and scare them and they are so beautiful and are beneficial to the garden as they dig for grubs.

Great video. I just caught a small one and it looked so docile in the cage, until I picked it up to move it! It was really strong and banging around so hard it nearly ripped my arm out of the socket holding on to handle. Smart too because it sure knew where that door was. Good to know they will lung at you like that!

Lol..so cute and funny. My baby Woodchuck had a sibling. I had to bottle raise both of them. The brother was not impressed by me and made it quite clear I was NOT his mother. He actually got away from me which left my little guy you saw in my video. He truly was the sweetest little guy. I wish I had made more videos of him. He played like a puppy and was just the cutest thing ever.

You got a lot closer than I thought! I figured they flee quickly but it was playing offense! I have these criters all over my barn and farm house. They've chewed through the floor boards and tunneled everywhere. They are like an army! I've been forced to take out about 12 already but they keep coming!

Moved into a new house in October and had a possum under my shed. I read that possums are the best animals to have in your yard as they kill insects and deter rodents. Now I noticed a big groundhog under the shed. Would the groundhog kill the possum and take the den? Or is it more likely the possum was hit by a car and the groundhog then moved in??

I think you hit it on the head..Chances are the possum is gone (not sure why) and the groundhog has taken over under the shed..Watch out he will get into your garden!!

Woodchucks are neat little animals. They are cute and furry and as long as they aren't damaging anything I like having them around. Oh but get ones temper engaged and look out. They turn into the meanest little animals you'll come across.

Ken, I've never experienced that kind of aggressive behavior in Kenny. He has returned for 8 years and by the way is really a female and even show her babies how to climb the shrub to reach the feeding window and where to get food I leave out on the deck. Thanks for alerting me to their aggressiveness. I'll be on the watch for any of that kind of behavior.

You're lucky the mother didn't come out. Groundhogs can get aggressive. I've seen them hold their own against cats, dogs, and even red fox before.

@@Backyardprojectguy I'm not blaming you. Groundhogs aren't human. They may be scared and think you may hurt them. They are being wildlife animals. I have them in my back yard also. I just keep my distance and watch the family with my binoculars. It's a beautiful thing Protect the groundhogs /wildlife

The Shade Tree Fix-it Man They are adorable little guys but yeah If you want to watch them they are best watched from a distance they are fearless when you corner them and they will bite repeatedly and aggressively.
