Previously they were below 430 which was achievable for the most. To have 500 you need Bachelors in India+ 1 year of experience in India as NOC B and above+Canadian degree+ Highest IELTS score+ 1 year NOC B experience in Canada. Calculate it yourself 3. Housing: Highest housing price in G7 countries. 9 out of 10 Canadians think they won’t be able to afford a house singularly. 4. Interest rates: check the interest rates for anything they have skyrocketed. For houses it was 1-1.5% before. Today it is 6%. People used to get cars for 0-1% interest. Today the interest is 8-9% and there is a waiting for that for 6 months. Explain me if the system is not broken. And please correct me if I am wrong thanks!

If someone works full time 40hours a week on minimum wage, let’s calculate 40*4=160, 160*15.65= 2504, before tax deduction, after tax deduction you might have around 2100, now calculate the expenses, monthly rent 700 per person, 300 groceries, 100 phone bill, 200 dollar transportation or if you have car then around 350 insurance plus 100 gas, 100 for entertainment, so total expenses will be around 1400 to 1700, let say 1400 now 2100-1400=700, at the end up your month you will 700, and if you have taken loan from anyone then that all money goes to the interest rate of borrowed money, at the end you will have BaBaji ka thullu

Regarding jobs, finding a full-time job can be a struggle but with some smart search -- and some expert assistance -- I have found that a lot of immigrants are able to become permanent employees. Here, I would suggest all job aspirants to take assistance from local immigrant support networks. This can play an important role in us finding a good job after we complete our education. Also, having a strong LinkedIn profile, and having a good set of local references, can often be a clincher. So, we need to build a good relationship with your professors as well as our colleagues. Some of my professors have almost become family to me after my years here, and they played a major role in me finding two full-time jobs.

There is no shortcut to success, only hard work, even Indians that came here 30+ years ago are still hustling and grinding, but that’s the way it is here. The only thing I would add is that all types of Indians are everywhere in Canada now in every province. Majority of Indians are still Punjabi, Gujarati or Mallus but all types of Indians are everywhere in Canada including Brampton and Surrey.

Mine is University of Calgary, in my engineering program for Master’s almost every one is from india or from Pakistan or Bangladesh. Forget about the diversity for engineering, if you really want to make local or other international friends try joining clubs or attending events.

For Canadians, they can find good paying engineering jobs with Bachelor degree alone. There is no need to spend money on Master degree unless they can't find a job and need to return to school (such as during a recession or oil bust).

The employdled people are unaware of ground reality of the job seekers. Better to go to ontario. There is a good chance you might get something in ontario. But that being said most of southern ontario is very expensive. But lots of opportunities. I got more interviews every month in ontario than i did in 3 years.

I am not saying American institutuions are all indians, majoirty are white in most universities but just not in masters level (except Bio related masters which are just filled ot the brim with white girls)

Yup it became the same as India. Diff is the majdoori thing , u can't live that well with majdoori in India but here it is a bit better. But yeah struggle is becoming same as India , so I think it is less lucrative to come on Student Visa rather coming on Work Visa or PR is better. Being a student is hard right now.

About 50% of international students are in Ontario. There are less chance for you to find a part-time job due to competition. Ontario PNP is more difficult. Alberta PNP is easier. Check percentage of international students in a college or university; the less the better.
