Implant weakness is S tier. No questions. Running solo, it can make a single weapon amazing for almost all enemies. Especially in the early NG levels when the upgrade materials are very tough to get. Even those with resistance to the weakness you are implanting become considerably easier. Sour Battle Axe with a trinket that implants sour weakness, and you are good till NG 4+ .If you can get this on a trinket with it's corresponding Up best, and then on NG 4 get a weapon with up best, you will be rocking everything. If you are lucky enough to get Life steal, Implant Weakness, and Attack Up Best, you will lifesteal like MAD. Love that combo.

Does implant weakness stack with the weakness the bug already has? Like if I use implant weakness salty on the mantis, will it be 75% weak to salty instead of just 25%?

i gonna put "Damage Resist" at SS tier. it is very very life saver. if you're not very good at this game like me, not good at parry, always die instantly by infused bugs, then i suggest to find "damage resist effect" at weapon and trinket (double damage resist). i tried them and i could tank infused bugs easily. also its very very useful at infused IBM, i never could beat IIBM in NG+4 until i put on "double damage resist" and i could beat it 4 times in row.

Poison, Bleed, etc. should scale up with each ng+. I hate how with every ng+ you have less options on what to use cause they get power crept.

the summoner reflect damage is insane... (if you watched the vid from cidiinky you know)... you run a summoner build obviously... the biuld is killing every mob and BOSS in like 10 seconds. its insane trust me

I found a way around the staff no block zone that makes wizards defence actually good. If you hold, even for a few seconds, then press block at the exact frame you release, it still fires, and you can block immediately

I'm in NG+1 and was clearing out the Undershed today and got a really good waffle - "+defense event attack" with "Sour damage up best". And I didn't even need to reroll, which is always the case with cones...

gas guard and sizzle immunity in my opinion are Ctier because you can dupe so many slurps in ng+1, which cost 1000 raw science, and combines with milk molars the damage after ng+1-2 is not even close to killing you because you can just drink a health slurp and you back to max or close hp without any issues. That makes the gas guard useless since the gas does not scale based on new game +. All you would have to do is set up a chest zone inside the gas area next to each major marker with tons of health and you are all set for the gas zone. The charcoal zone on the other hand you will need health chests farther away so just keep heals on you instead. Just my opinion though.

A bug that I notice is that on NG+1, I’m not getting Infected Broodmother Infused Ooze, like ever. I have +40% Loot Luck, but almost never getting that Infected Broodmother Infused Ooze. I believe it’s a 100% Chance, but I only got one after killing the creature like 15 times. (NG+1)

Honestly all of the Finale effects need to be buffed (except goo and fury)

I hope they either remove the useless effects completely or increase the chance to get S or A tier effects a lot more frequently. Because getting C or D tier effects is super easy and there's rarely a drop without at least one of them on a trinket/weapon. Getting S and A tier effects requires hours of reloading, especially if you want to get a good combination of them... so they really need to balance the droprates of each effect.

@@shovkovskyi actually, you can do the ant method in ng+2. Why are you spending time in ng+1? You’re not supposed to get a lot of cones in ng+1, but if you really want some early just use stuffed black ox beetle with dissection expert.

I completely disagree. NG+ should be hard and should be a grind. Plus, It makes my S tier trinkets that much more rare and something to feel proud of. For example, I have a trinket with Damage Resist, Life steal and Fresh Damage Up Best. If S tier trinkets were easier to get, to the point where pretty much anyone can get the trinket with minimal effort including the one I just mentioned, than it wouldn't be very special now would it.? And btw, I'm in NG+20. I've worked hard and did a lot of grinding to get what I have. So I don't want them making it easier for noobs to acquire S tier items.

I am 90% sure the Implant Weakness effects are not as useful as you say. You state that they increase the damage by 50%, but I am fairly certain it is not Additive, but Multiplicative, so if the enemy has 50% Spicy Weakness already, it will increase by 25% instead of 50%. So when the enemy has Resistance, it is even more useless.

The Katanas have an effect that if you hit a 3 hit combo, your parry window increases drastically, with samurai, your parry window is basically infinite

@@Khaizen10 when you've just started NG+, you obviously want to get as good cones as possible, but the only creature that drops them is Black ox beetle. So once you beat one and see that it drops a cone, next few hours are spent reloading the save to get some good effects on that cone to help with bosses. Removing useless effects would mean that there's almost no need to reload saves, because you know that soon enough you'll get a good effect combination.

@@shovkovskyi why are you reloading for those? That’s not a requirement. All you need is a single trinket with defense event up for the Javamatic. Everything else can be done easily in ng+1. And before you say something like “classic mild player”, I’m in ng+3 medium.

Pretty rare, but any specific 3 effects are rare. Also it’s a trash trinkets because it’s divided between fresh and salty, so you aren’t getting the most out of it

Not sure if Para is reading the comments but in case y'all didn't know, you no longer instantly die from drowning. Now, when the breath timer reaches zero, you start losing health and then you die. But in higher NG+ if you pop a bandage, it'll keep you from drowning. Lol
