I can never decide if I prefer spider-man's red to have more pink to it or orange, but the orange looks great with the near black for the really vintage look.

For me it’s always orange. I even usually spurt a touch of yellow to the highlights most times. It make that red more brighter as pink is essentially white added to the red so it’s desaturated the colour

I love this resin! I use the ABS like, 2kg bottles. Sometimes lightning deals on amazon for 29-30 USD for 2kg

Using oils to make the lines is genius. I love your content, I feel like you are the ONLY statue maker that actually tells us what they are doing and why. Most others just do it and explain little, but getting the inner voice of why you are doing certain things is amazing. How well does it clean off. An issue I have with a lot of resins is even after a go in a wash station and second manual wash in IPA the resin is still tacky after more than enough time to fully dry and evaporate. If I ignore it and try to prime it doesn't stick well. So I've been blaming the resin for being too clingy to the model or just not washing well.

Jeez man, I guess you are a wee bit crazy with your approach to grow the channel, but - you got me as a Patreon! You are hiding so much knowledge about paint techniques, materials, chemistry, color theory, etc. behind those "easy to watch" videos. It takes some skill to follow your steps, but it's rewarding every time. While seeming simple your color application is a mastery of itself.
