GroundHog excavator... jerky hydraulics or operator error??

Been an operator for 40 yrs, absolutely correct on throttle and who wants to listen to a screaming engine for 10 hrs, if you don't need the extra boost of power. When you use multiple movements the fluid doesn't hammer when you close a valve, it will continue flowing to the open valve, so smooth flow of controls has a direct correlation to smooth operation of machine, Speed is a byproduct of accuracy. slow is accurate, and accurate becomes fast,

Chinese spool valves all have square cut edges, they are not chamfered and beveled so they require very fine motor control to work smoothly. Just takes a little practice

Dumb question but can they be taken apart and machined to have a bevel?

I have that same Machine But it says Typhoon on it. its smooth if you operate it smooth!

You can try adjusting the valves at the valve body.

How do you adjust the drive tracks hydrolics so they move at the same speed. Mine are way off. Would love a how to video pls

Depends on hours you use it. Most equipment operators grease equipment everyday of use
