Foundation was in 1906, for whatever the reason the Porto board changes their foundation date in the 80’s adopting what was another club with the same name’s birth date. Admittedly the founder of the first club was also involved in founding the second one, but from 1896 till 1906 there was effectively no FCPorto. In 1986 the club celebrated 80 years, and then they changed the foundation date to stroke some egos.

That red card was celebrated like a goal, becouse otamendi played in porto and won a bunch off titles there the most important one the europa league in 2010, and that team he played he won agains benfica 5-0 to... but since he signed for benfica he never showed any respect for porto or their fans. And Porto will never respect a traitor. It is ok to play for the rival but you still need to respect Porto!

Small correction: FC Porto VS SL Benfica is NOT a derby. FC Porto are from the city of Porto, in the north of Portugal and SL Benfica are from Lisbon, in the south. The definition of Derby is a classic match between two teams of the same district, city, town, etc.

Unfortunately clubs are giving ultras a hard time for not being legal organizations or whatever. So drums, big flags, ect… are not allowed in stadiums, also why tifos haven’t been seen by portuguese ultras for a while. Bit sad in my opinion I loved to see it but fans still do their best and sing all match long anyway.

Just to give some context , the "Só mais 1" chant goes way back, it translates to "Just one more (goal)" and the crowd used it in 2010 aswell when we last beat benfica 5-0. The extreme reaction from the crowd when the player was sent off it's because it was Otamendi, which is a ex-Porto player who was a part of the 2010 squad so he was in both 5-0s 😂

One curiosity that you might not know is, the Benfica player that saw the red card was Otamendi, and Otamendi was a former FC Porto team captain(that´s why all the cheering and hatred when he was sent off, because no one expected or accepts a former FC Porto captain to be playing for Benfica now). And another curiosity you might not know is, he actually was part of the squad that also won Benfica 5-0 in 2010(he stayed on the bench though), so he was in both matches we won 5-0 but on different sides.

PLEASE you've got to come to AFC Wimbledon! It's a mad story - Wimbledon FC set up in 1889, rose up the leagues in the 80s, their club facilities didn't catch up so they had no stadium, then an awful chairman moved them over 40 miles north to Milton Keynes after 113 years in South London. In protest, the fans set up a new club, AFC Wimbledon, in the 9th tier, and got rapid promotions just like the old club did and, even after a Covid pandemic and cost of living crisis, they raised £33 million to build a new stadium right next to where their old one was!The original club who got relocated, now Milton Keynes Dons, are now in the same league as AFC Wimbledon are now in the same league as the original club! AFC Wimbledon actually beat the original club two days ago with a 90th minute winner!
