In my lifetime I have had the privilege to visit Roadside America three times . The last time was the summer of 2019 somewhere near the time it closed . Thank you for not only posting some of the timeline of this place but also the unique drone footage inside and out . The music selection is a great match with all the footage too .

Lucky you. I found out about it after it closed from Toy Train Revue. I have seen the Choo Choo Barn though. As a model railroader myself, we all strive to have that amount of detail on our layouts. But anyone can do what Geringer did. Too bad there aren’t many places like this in the country.

A trip down memory lane! I remember seeing this when I was a child in the 50's. I will always remember the billboards for Roadside America as we traveled from New York to Pottsville, PA. I Was delighted when I finally got to see it. It's a shame to see it is closed. Maybe some investors or model enthusiasts could save it.

Never been inside. But did stop in 200p on my way to photograph a sporting event at a high school. Stopped and got photos of the building and the two large Amish people figures that sit outside. This is simular to the Choo Choo Barn in Strasburg Pa. But something tells me this display is alot bigger.

I understand that the members of the Gieringer family are retiring and hope to sell the display. The fate of the wonderful attraction is uncertain.

WELL IF I COULD be the SOLE winner of one of those over 200 million Lotto Jackpots what do you think I would do?
