Hehehehe,5.27 in the local language in reference to the photographer "Mburi ino ni irahuura mbica" (Is this goat taking photographs). 5.40 in the local dialect, "ni operow" (it's an Opel).

There was a competitive group B Truck. This was the group B Peugeot 504 Pick up developed by AVA sport in Kenya. It went on to win the Africa Rally Championship in 1984. A very portent Truck,deveoped and prepared in Kenya by local Kenyans. Word had it that Peugeot Automobiles in France asked AVA to built one for the Peugeot collection in France.

Era il rally che mi piaceva di meno, non contava la velocità pura ma una tattica di gara accorta e anche un po' di fortuna, tant'è che vincevano o erano competitivi, piloti sconosciuti come Metha, Preston, nativi keniani che conoscevano il percorso a memoria, nei rally europei gli stavano davanti molti privati sconosciuti.
