That black crab was a mangrove tree crab, you can get them in the mangroves or pilings near the shore and they’ve been way better than fiddlers for sheepshead for me, they’re easier to catch too they’re everywhere if you look

Epic 2 for 1 trout re-bite. I never would even have thought to try to get a second bite. Reconfirms my belief that I rehooked the same 42” snook (which jumped off the first time) some 5 minutes later in the same spot same lure. I got him the second time too.

Bro I fished the Everglades for the first time last year myself. It was amazing. I was with a very seasoned guide out of Islamorada. We had a great day catching snook big trout a few sm-med goliaths and several juvie tarpon along with 5 keeper big mangroves too. The scenery was unbelievable back in places that you would think other people have never been! I was gonna ask you if you guys ever saw any of the gigantic saltwater crocs that are back in the Glades? We saw about 8-10 of them and a few 10-12 footers…..it was amazing! The EverGlades is an amazing fishery!😎👍👍
