I had assumed that you were going to put the tree through the hole in the table by removing it from the pot and squeezing the root ball down through the hole. When I realised that you weren’t going to do it that way I couldn’t imagine how on earth you were going to go about it. Well done you pulled it off and it looks great. I too have always loved the look of those trees with the seats built around them, to me they look romantic. I would never have thought to grow a tree through a table it’s an awesome idea.

Hi Natalie! That probably would have been smarter to fit rootball first through the hole. There were a lot of little roots, it was going to be a tight squeeze, and I didn’t want to disturb them so I went the other direction. It looks so charming. I hope the tree likes its spot. I’ll do an update if it starts to fruit. Thank you for watching!

@@NutshellLiving I think it looks awesome and I am not a gardener but I would guess that it would be easier for the tree to recover from some bruised branches than to recover from damaged roots so you took the right path. And I look forward to seeing its growth. Also I looked for a glimpse of your bike but it didn’t quite fully come into screen, if you happen to think of it next time a little sweep past that whole little garden area would be nice 😊 not a demand or a necessity by any means!! Just a little something that I’m sure wouldn’t be the only one to appreciate? ❤️

I never thought to grow a tree through a table! Clever indeed. I wonder if it could be done with an olive tree? What a find on that teak table! ❤ it was nice to see the succulent chair again. They seem to be thriving. Oh!! I keep forgetting to tell you…one of my orchids is blooming! Hasn’t bloomed since the original blooms died back…5 years or more. I’m sure it’s the fertilizer you recommended in your video about your orchids. I’m like a proud mama with that orchid! 😆

Hi Linda! I always smile when I see your name. An olive tree would have been my first choice, but in this spot on the patio there is not enough sun to keep it happy. Guava trees in my area can do well with 5 hours of full sun. I am so thrilled to hear about your orchid re-blooming. It really does feel magical when they flower again. I hope it’s not too hot in your neck of the woods and that your son is getting stronger every day. Is your shoulder feeling more limber these days? Thank you all of your support on this channel. You make it worth all the effort.

Hey friend! You are so so so good! Each time you think, those creative dendrites fire off. When you plan something, it comes to fruition. I must admit that you had me on the edge of my seat Honestly, I wouldn't have thought to do something like that. 'Hello, umbrella!', I guess I'd prefer something easier to handle. you are the best! I see that your channel is growing.🥳🌹🌱

Hi!!!! It never feels like a good episode until I see your name pop up. I was most nervous making that hole. I had never used a hole saw bit that big. When my drill literally started to smoke I freaked out. I went onto KZbin to see if that meant my drill was ready for the junk heap, a nice female KZbinr said to relax, wait for it to cool off and proceed. That’s one of the reasons I like to buy a thrift store table so that if I mess things up I won’t feel bad. The table is looking so darling. I ran out of time so I’ll add a few more decor ideas to the mix next week. Have a great weekend!

@@NutshellLivingyou got this!! I think that drill was excited to take on the challenge of the table. All jokes aside, you taught us something new and that I’m sure most of us will take the challenge, too. Are you going to keep the chairs white? Oh my, speaking of chairs, the green chair with all of the succulents is gorgeous. Where are those sponsors to compensate you for your hard-work? Keep creating and I’ll keep watching your videos. Enjoy your week!🌷🕊🤗💕
