So true. Type 4 do grow long but sis. A type 4a grow faster than 4c from what I seen on KZbin. So many people been natural the same time doing the same stuff 2 their hair...looser curly patterns do more ...barely protective style and still out grow 4c. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♂️

I defs understand what you’re saying , but I really just think looser textures might have less issues with moisture retention . I think moisture is key to length retention .

@@Mrs_Canary my hair is type 4. 4b 4c and ive only been natural 2 years and it's already passed bra strap🤷 soooooo but i honestly think genetics play a big part cause my sister has a way looser texture even looser than razor and we went natural the same time and our hair is the exact same length

I have hair almost exactly like you, but even tighter ringlets. I wear it in a high bun every day and it still grows. I tried your twists and it was pulling at the hair one inch back from my temple. It's too thick to wear a low bun while sleeping. I literally have it in a high bun every single day! It doesn't really tangle. I also wash it every Sunday usually. I think I moisturize my hair 2-3x a week and always wet it in the shower. I too can tell if my ends need more redken anti-snap or more aussie moist/ shea moisture. I never wear mine in twists, but I want to start doing it more. I will also dust my ends more. When you cut your hair, mine was bra strap length. Now it's waist length. Girl you have such good length retention!

Hey Raz. I was just wondeingr how the crown portion or front part of your hair is doing. Because I recall some time back when you cut your hair you said you were having problems with that area.
