Germinating and growing time-lapse of a cherry fruit tree from a fresh seed or pit. Cherry seeds will need to go through a cold stratification to germinate properly. To sped up this process, we carefully removed all the flesh and broke the outer shell before wrapping its core with a moist paper tower and sealed inside a zip lock bag. The core was then chilled in a fridge at a temperature of 32 to 40°F for 2 months. After that, it was planted in a pot with moist soil. It took an additional 10 days to see a baby cherry tree coming up. The plant grew very fast with lots of leaves. After 80 days from the sowing day, our cherry tree reach about 4ft in height, and kept growing very strong.
