In asia, we eat bean sprouts from mung beans and they sell for SGD$6.60/kg. So if that self container can produce 386kg daily, it should bring in about $2,550/per harvest. Especially in land scarce place like Singapore, this will be a good strategy.

I always thought that if these fodder companies wanted to actually sell more of these systems. They'd actually simply do ASMR fodder feeding videos mixed with a bit of hay or straw or something. few hundred of these munchie videos people would actually realize this exist. Google fodder growing system. I was a bit surprised initially, but then found some cheaper systems. If you read the product descriptions, you may be able to find it cheaper somewhere else or assemble on your own. There is a video of a guy on Aftica, that has a very simple system. Metal trays, not plastic.

I am sure that all tastes good to a herbivore, but how nutritious is it? What is the hydroponic water? There is only so much protein and micronutrients in a seed. If you feed just that to a cow, I think you would be starving it slowly. Without all the nutrients that are found in full grown field grasses, you would just be feeding a cow a tasty snack, all the while, depleting it of minerals and vitamins a plant would get from the ground and natural sunlight. I think your farm animals would get sick if that is all they ate.
