I love your idea for e condos. I took your idea, utilizing 2:40 one shoe closet to make 2 condos. Easier set up and colapsable. No work except scissors, and zipties. Will try to send somepicks

when I visited Vietnam and Malaysia many years ago, they have this kind of prawns in the wild. This species is native in Asia. Looking similar to sea water shrimp but has pair of long thin claws that twice the length of their actual body. But I don't see them farming this , instead they are farming Australian red claws.

Everyone I talk to says they will not breed in freshwater I've been watching your channel for a few years now and I don't remember u saying u are using brackish water in your systems can you clarify this for me??

They breed in freshwater, but the larvae need brackish water to survive and grow.

No. The fish will eat the Prawns if they are smaller and Prawns will eat the small fishes.

OK I was very excited to grow prawns and was told first that I was getting 1000 but then I was told that I was getting 1 month old instead and I was getting 800 but when they eat each seller is aware. Of this so that is when you buy they tell you that buy 50,000 and you should harvest 25000 I started thinking 800 ended up 3 weeks in the tank and I started noticing a few dead so I changed tanks to 600 gallon and counted them I only had 300 so I know I didn't get what I paid for..so I kept them growing for 7 months but had oxygen depleted and then it got too cold and I lost more took them into the house and got a month of winter. And then the power went out and I poured water for two hours and then the next day they were deed. My suggestion is if you don't have a free and clear water source..don't think about this way to make money the number of eggs are impressive but you need a lot of room for them to grow
