So rewarding to grow from seed, time lapse, amazing. Thanks for the share.

Hey. I also started growing Washingtonia robusta in Switzerland 1 year ago. I followed your videos:-) Now a question? At what night temperatures can the robustas go outside again?

Without stunting growth at least 10°C, seedlings will be killed by frost. When they have a sizable trunk they can tolerate maybe -3 or -4 celsius in wet conditions, -7 celsius in dry.

This is cool 😎 I was gifted one that is 6 months old with 3 leaves (1 went brown). I was told to put it in a cooler darkish place during winter. Is this correct? And when can I bring back out? April and climatic it before putting in sun. Great Channel. 👍 I've subscribed

Are usually put it in a warm spot in my house with an artificial LED grow lamp still not as much water as in the summer. If you’re using the LEDs, you do need more water. The cold dark place will work. You just gotta watch out for mold, root rot or spear fungus

@@TheJames2929 okay, thank you for the tips. Your tropicals look awesome in your back yard (especially your Mexican fan in the corner by itself)
