I work full time as a butcher for two decades, I jumped in a few weeks ago to Tcgplayer selling, eBay and KZbin. No time like the present. Hard long hours of doing what I love is better than a 9-5 for corporate any day.

Very VERY cool space, look forward to seeing you crush it in here. I once created a beverage brand in NYC and I faced many similar challenges. We would have to unload hand-stacked containers (with nearly 2,000 20-pound cases of beverage per container) by hand and palletize them all in the process. In terms of material handling- can you now take palletized deliveries and have the ability to bring them right in, or will you still be breaking down any deliveries that arrive? I didn't see a bay door. I was also curious if you had a pallet jack or maybe even a forklift? Forklifts are intimidating but you could triple that space if you could go to the ceiling. Also, one of the best purchases I ever made was getting some ridiculously expensive pallet jacks and hand trucks from mag-liner... being able to handle the materials with ease and getting the deliveries off the trucks as fast as possible became incredibly important. Just spitballing here, but you might want to get your hands on smaller 'Euro pallets' if you are dealing with normal doorways. Also, anything you can do to take advantage of the ceiling height would be grea (or at least it was for me, as the floor filled up so fast). You have an awesome space, it looks very clean too... maybe get a industrial rolling ladder or staircase to max out the height of your storage capacity. Also pallet racks are pretty cheap and help you get the stuff off of the ground, but just make sure you have someone install them properly and bolt them down.

Yea we have a rolling bay door to accept delivery. I don’t think we have the room for a forklift or the need for one but it might be something we would need soon.

You keep doing you! Personally I like the money side of things & hate debt. I hope you are doing well & it would be cool to know your thoughts on debt & how you pay for stuff. And opinions on things like, should a goal be to eventually own the real estate instead of rent it. I always wonder why people don't stay at one location until they can save up & buy a location, then if they outgrow that they could rent it to the next guy & buy the next place of their own. Basically have a card shop business as well as be a real estate investor. I can't see how moving to bigger locations until eventually you rent a place that is just to big and have to take a setback would work out. Not saying I'm right, but I would be curious on your thoughts or if you consider this.
