Yeah i sell cards as my primary source of income , and there is NO WAY i could surivive if i didnt have my own ways , this market is WAY too competitive and has too many hobby sellers who dont need to get market value bc its not a job to them. In my paint business for instance my main competitors are other actual businesses, but with cards there is 20,000 little 8 year old timmys selling their collections for lowest ls8ted price every day , there are ways to do it , but you have to think outside the box for sure , no way your going to sell the exact same way as every other seller and expect worthwhile results.

this is what ive been telling people for about a year and a half now direct just isnt what it once was and is constantly getting worse and its even worse for me as a primarily yugioh focused business between a flooding of sellers dumping everything they can on direct and the horrible ri change of which ive had 20 ris come back and out of those 20 i sent 17 back and they got accepted its just to inconsistent grading (which is the reason the 2 percent change is dogshit) wise and a race to the bottom for me to care anymore.

10:40 - Why not do a 5 - 8.00 min order? Or even $10.00 min order and offer free S&H or 8.00 min order and keep charging your .99 cent S&H?

i agree seems like direct making changes, do you buy from direct too? i've noticed the QC has been way better, anything I used to be older than swsh "NM" was more like MP but its been way better lately think with the 2% error threshold they've def been stingier and maybe sellers have been more careful as well

Have you seen collector boosters cases where the print date was well after the release? Policy wise they've said they don't reprint collector boosters packs... so do you believe they do reprint collector boxes that don't have serialized cards?

it's looking like it's going to be another Destany. I bought 3 boxes of Destany and the first 4 starter boxes thinking some of my LGSs would eventually run it; not one of them ran events for it at all and I only got to play maybe 2 or 3 casual games of it at all period in all the time I have owned it. No one is running Unlimited events locally at all, the nearest events are like in St. Louis. This sucks big time as it looks like a great game.

i do pokemon on TCGplayer and i am considering direct for one reason. The damn 30-60 card orders that are $5-7

2 videos in a week i had to pinch my self =) love seeing you pop up on my feed. Ebay / lot question... I've made a few listings for lots and promoted but have yet to sell any, I just started makin a concentrated effort to list. Does having an actual "ebay store" affect this in any way? Also is it possible frequency or lack there of listing affects traffic despite being search engine based? I feel like every time I do make a sell it within 24 hours from the last time I listed something and dont wanna believe in a false conspiracy theory

You should do a video on making your bulk lots, would love to see the process and your specifications for what you build it to include that helps grow sales and retain repeat buyers. Most bulk lots are trash, it would be nice to see how someone approaches it with some respect for the end consumer of it

You know if you didn't give free shipping on everything and actually just broke even on the shipping you would save yourself a ton of money. I know buyer's feel entitled to get free shipping, but unless the post office has a free shipping day, we pay for shipping when we go there.

TCGPlayer is the only one making a killing in this environment, 10% on every sale. It still amazes me that people will list cards for $0.01. Yeah sure, you are only paying $0.64 to ship and charge $1.27- but you are still losing money after fees and time spent.
