I just wanted to thank you for these videos. I got kind of emotional watching this because the world has been so dark and scary lately and gardening is how I cope; my son usually falls asleep in my lap every night while we watch these videos and it makes me feel a little more sane and a little less afraid just to watch pleasant, informative videos and work on my garden. It means a lot ❤

Gosh, your voice! It totally soothes and relaxes me! I just love how you talk! (Hope that's not weird 😂) Not to mention your garden tips, you are literally walking me through my first garden and I absolutely could not do it without you. Before I started researching how to make a garden I thought you just planted some seeds and watered them everyday. Boy was I wrong! Such a difficult task! I really thank you for sharing your master gardener secrets with us and taking the time out of your day to do so!🤗

Thanks for the informative video series! I've got seeds for a variety of Korean pepper I want to try growing. My ability to read and comprehend Korean isn't so good so understanding the information on the packet is challenge. I came looking for baseline knowledge and I found it! Was glad to get some confirmation that cultivation is pretty similar across varieties, so now when I eventually plant these I'll be able to do so with a little more confidence!

I have 14 Pepper plants, 12 of them are in 12" wide containers, and 2 of them are in 15". I don't have a lot of room in my yard, so I'm fine with them only getting to a certain size. That said, I bought all of mine as starters at my local Home Depot, it's been around 3 weeks and they have exploded in size. They were all getting root bound when I bought them so it was definitely time for a transplant. And the best part was they had already been outside on the Florida sun so I didn't have to harden any off

Hey Louise, thanks for the support! Hotter pepper plants do seem to be more delicate than the large sweet ones. Once the temps are above 18C, they can all go outside, no problem. You can grow indoors provided you have both the space and enough light! :-)

What kind of straw are you using as mulch? Where to buy? I know someone that used hay and it must have had some kind of weed killer on it - killed veggies. Thank you!!!

Yeah, hay is tough, I don't recommend it. It also tends to sprout, so that's not good either. I get my straw at the local feed store. It's also used as animal breeding.

I really don’t know what I did to them exactly, but they are very small, the stems have turned a weird purplish colour and the leaves are just not very green. I gave them a small amount of fish fertilizer last week but they’ve just stayed looking like Charlie browns Christmas tree. It’s for sure way too late to start new ones here in Alberta. @TheRipeTomatoFarms3 жыл бұрын
@@derekcox6531 purple or black stems is common... It may be one of three things... 1) nothing... It's normal. 2) temperatures are too cool, bad pH, or plants are over watered. And 3) fungal disease known as phytophthora blight.
