Awesome results, but i was folllowing the tutorial and stopped at 29:12 , when you add some additional points to the Positions and Age so it creates a Vertex Map, in my case no Vertex Map was created, do ypu know why?
@realruckli10 ай бұрын
You are right, this trick not always works. The Vertex Map gets created automaticly when you start growing points, but the probem is that the Vertex Map gets lost when you go back to frame 0. So thats a bit anoying. A better solution is to plug an Append Element Node between the Memory Solver and the Iterate Collection. This should make sure that there is always a point at Frame 0. Hope that helps.

Hello! Thanks for this wonderful tutorial! I don't know why it didn't work with my object? I even try just to replace the head by my object in your file just to test if it was a node problem in my file but it seems like it is my object. I imported a logo in C4D, the object was a Vector Imported. I tried to make it an object and by clicking state to object then connect the object. I used the final connected object to replace the head. I don't know why it stopped working :(

Thank you for creating this tutorial! Unfortunately, I encountered an issue at the point where you first press play to see the point cloud growing. Instead of a growing point cloud, I see new spheres being generated around a central sphere. These spheres disappear after a few frames and are replaced by new ones, creating a sort of "dancing" effect around the center. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
@realruckli10 күн бұрын

how to make it more smooth in motion. at the moment it looks like stop motion
@realruckli4 ай бұрын
Thats the nature of any grow effect. You can make it smoother by make the resolution of your setup much higer to hide the popping effect. But this will lead in bigger calculation times of course.

Not 100% sure what you mean, but is the advanced capsule that i present at the end of the video maybe the solution (growing them inside the head model)?
@bcrbdb8 ай бұрын
@@realruckli Thank you for the answer. I would like it to grow outside of the surface of the head, like you know on particle systems that have a surface follow operator, not starting inside and colliding with the inside of the head. Thanks

@@bcrbdb Yes this should be no problem. Instead of checking if the point is inside the head you can project every point with the "Closest Point On Surface" Node to the desired surface. Maybe a good node exercise :) . Let me know if you need any help
