Hi Pepe, I’m going to need to get one of those trees. I have been using soursop leaves and fruit for s little while now. I am planning relocate from Maryland to Florida which I know is much better for growing them then in Maryland! I thank you and Susie for the tips. I also shared with family and friends, especially ones who have certain ailments and really can use it! 🙏🏾💕

Good luck getting a place in florida, where half of USA been relocating to for over a year. This drove real estate prices through the roof. Unless you want a shed for half a mil, Id wait haha.

@@VladOnEarth fortunately for me Florida is not my only option. I have family throughout the north, south and west (some with land). I never plan without a backup plan!

As we dont have parent's property to use for free, not even temporarily. Rental market is and absolute soulless rip off, always has been, but now more than ever. And when you are forced to rent, you are being drained like a slave basically with no other option in many cases, unless you want to sign up for a 30 year slavery contract buyjng a POS house for half a mil. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Not fun at all.

Hi Pepe. I have a guanabana tree in Orlando! I have it on the sunny side and close to the house. I cover it every winter and every year at this time of year is when I get flowers. It has yet to set fruit but I’m hopeful. Any tips!

Look up hand pollination of Soursop. Also if you can hang a basket of fruit up in the tree it will possibly help bring insects to pollinate. Be sure that the tree gets low nitrogen and apply extra minerals. Some iron and zinc. Often times the flowers get pollinated and wont begin to fruit until spring if it does not get too cold. The dont necessarily relax you, soursop has a trace amount of neurotoxin. And alcohol is a pure neyrotoxin also, which is why you may feel similar effects when consume a lot of soursop. But anyways, alcohol is 10 times worse, so I consider soursop safe in moderate amounts.

Hello Pepe I just got my very first soursop tree here in FL I have so many questions One of which is since I have to keep my potted what would be the best type of acidic soil, Second how often do you think it should be watered any tips and advice would be greatly apricated.

Use a good well drained potting soil. The pH should average about 6-6.5. Water as needed. They don't like to much water. Soil should dry out slightly before watering again. You need to grow them in full sun. I spray copper at least once a month to prevent disease. Good luck and thanks for watching.

I love to be able to grow stuff like this in Ohio. I'm not use to growing anything as it it but I don't think it would be the best environment here but not sure

You would need to grow in containers and have a greenhouse for the cooler time of the year or they need to be brought indoors below 45 degrees F.
