I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Wow what an achievement! Self-taught and then teach other people to do the same. He’s passionate yet humble. A cool dude!

Chaga seems a lot more rare given I’ve never seen someone produce it, and its only exists in a few locations under certain conditions.

Teaching all forms of sustainable agriculture to people is essential for our future as a species. Growing food in a sustainable way, raising animals in a sustainable way and I also believe in teaching people how to hunt, fish and forage properly for conservation work. We need to reestablish the connection to nature so we can eat and prosper without fucking everything up. We as a society do things that are disgusting and devastating for nature when it comes to food be it Monocrop farming or factory farms. This man is part of the future we need to see a respectful understanding of food.

Mushrooms aren't like acid. You don't hallucinate, you just see some colors, and things move. I've never heard of anyone having a bad trip on shrooms.

the fact that those mushrooms specifically grow out of moths blew my mind, and that you can cultivate them on something so cheap since a lot mushrooms seem to need hard wood substrate

They grow really quickly as well. Every week day i have to walk through a grass verge to get on the main road & last week there were NO mushrooms (that I noticed), but 2 days ago I noticed a couple of large yellowish mushrooms, looked around and there were loads! I'm amazed at how many, & how quickly they grew. I'd love to know what type they are!?

If I knew the origins of everything I ate, I would literally starve!😔😭🥺 True confession:I absolutely HATED the thought of eating mushrooms 🍄 until recently when my brother introduced me to them. Now I can’t get enough!😄😘🙏😉😝
