I grew up in a haunted house. The house I lived in was built by my grandfather and I was later told it was built on a land that was used by the Japanese soldiers during WWII for execution. All my family members had our fair shares of unpleasant encounters during our stay there. Even in our sleep, our dreams were invaded.

I've had so many experiences since young until it subsided and eventually stopped in my mid-20s (a few years back). The chain sounds' experience is one of them, which I encountered a few days after my friend did in my old house. House wasn't haunted though, but it was the first and last day of the 7th month respectively for both experiences.

@@SupernaturalConfessions It happened in a 2+1+1 hdb flat, on level 5, in a pretty central area of SG. It was the first night of the 7th month. My friend stayed over, and slept in the +1 room (at the end of the entire house in the kitchen) alone and I was sleeping in my parent's room. As you may know, the +1 room is small. My friend chose to sleep on the mattress on the floor cos she was cold (sleeping on the bed means she could feel the wind from the fan on her). By sleeping on the floor, her feet practically touched the wall with where the window was. With the blanket, there was not much allowance for wind to enter. Plus it was a humid night, so I recalled no natural breeze. She gradually fell asleep. In the middle of the night, she suddenly heard the sound of chains dragging nearby. It sounded heavy, and near. She was afraid, and told herself it's from downstairs, though she confessed it sounded more like it came around her. She also felt gusts of wind coming in the blanket from where her feet were, which like mentioned, almost impossible. She froze but she couldn't do anything and eventually fell asleep. Fast forward to last night of 7th month. I was sleeping in my parent's room, this time with my mom by my side, and my dog at my feet. The door wasn't shut. I was dozing off when I suddenly heard the sound of chains dragging. But it was gentle, sounded like bells actually. It went on for awhile. I was lying flat so I opened my eyes just a little bit to look down at my dog, and saw her staring at the door.

I had the same thing happened to me years ago, I heard chains in the middle of the night outside my window. I heard chains dragging. I thought my next door neighbor was doing some kind of shifting of their stuff BUT in the middle of the night??? As I'm tired and I need to report to work, I can't be bothered and tried to get back to sleep and surprisingly I did. The next day I ask my next door neighbor what happened this early morning, if they are doing any shifting of stuff. I also realized that his other siblings who does not stay here, out of the blue were there that day. They also informed me that their Dad just passed away. Oops, what a coincidence. When I told them I heard chains dragging on the floor that early morning, all of them suddenly went silent and they kind of stared at me shocked. Our body language seemed to show that we sort of believed that he is being dragged into the underworld but we just kept silent on the subject and I noticed that they were discussing among themselves what I just brought up. I of course moved away to let them be and that was it.

About the chain sounds,since she did mention it going around the house,it could be either someone passing away nearby or just ah pek trying to catch stray spirits that has gotten into the area of her house or even inside her house

If I had to guess, I think her house sits on a ley line, where some researchers believe that at the places these lines intersect, there are pockets of concentrated energy, that can be harnessed by both humans and supernatural beings, acting like a gateway or portals to other dimensions.

Chain dragging I experience with me when i was sec sch need to go other country msia west rural area with waterfall jungle forest as holiday Must sign up , so cjoice and sign up At night the chalet place where i stay with 3 other persons also midngitj also 2 am heard chain ⛓️ dragging I was like woah whos outside , no footsteps Usually pepple walk cant escape my hearing bcos especially in tree ans branches around sure got footstep even tip toe bcos they didnt clean the place pathway got leaf etc sure create sound especially my place being place at the corner where outisde forest alrdy Thats the first time i heard shackle chain ⛓️ dragging sound especialy midnight so clear while everyone sleeping bcos all walk hill up and down activity Theoighout my life I keep bump into paranormal not like i want to experience them ........ I encountered what she been through while in my even younger day and even in my 20 too,before the sound of chain my ears will automatically block and I will hear someone like using a big hammer hitting on metal,after that it will stop and next I will hear the dragging of chain,this is not the first time but another time as well.I believe what she say is real but after all that episode and I reached the age of 30,I did not hear or encounter any of that anymore.

@@SupernaturalConfessions It's a list but I've just give a couple. But 1) when my brother in law and his brother were kids, they shared a bunk bed. One night a dark figure floated into their room and they were both awake and saw it at the same time. My in-law put his hand through the dark figure 2) one night I was hanging a bit with that same brother in law and his other brother - who is a very closed minded skeptic - just started randomly ranting about how he was in the living room and saw native americans dancing around the coffee table. (this was the same house) But then all of the sudden he quickly denied what he just said because he couldn't handle it or something. 3) I went to a really old cathedral when I was doing my Masters degree working with the blind. My completely blind client requested to go there because he's catholic. I walked around looking at the architecture then my eye latched onto a statue that was laying down. I had a moment where I figured my brain was playing tricks on me because it looked like the statue fluttered up and down. I would have forgotten about it but when I got in the car, my client immediately said - "hey Jeff (my name). you know that statue in there?" I said no. then he said. "it will levitate for anyone god wants to speak to." - I still don't know what that was about. I'm not sure if it was real or just my brain. 4) last one. This was subtle but seemed very real. I was with my girlfriend at the time exploring an old, allegedly haunted hotel in Flagstaff AZ. Nobody was around it was too late and we were exploring the hallways. then we both got a strong wiff/smell of perfume out of nowhere. It just sprang on us.

On the morning my grandpa passed away , my mother told us that she heard sounds of chains being dragged and a big sigh coming from my grandpa's room. (The body was still in the bedroom) Many relatives have arrived at that time around close to noon. Only my mom heard it.
