I’m mixed black and white but it’s not the most important thing about me. I’ve had the odd racist remark , but I give as good as I get. I certainly haven’t met it stop me making a success of my life. I’m fact it’s makes the real racists resent me more that I’m working harder and achieving more than them on my own merit. Im proud of being both black and white, and I don’t hate anybody .

Skin colour is always going to be something people notice, but it doesn't have to be a negative thing. At the moment you can say to someone "I like the colour of your hair" or "I like the colour of your eyes" and it doesn't really mean anything, it's just a nice thing to say to someone. Hopefully skin colour will be like that in the future. But hoping people won't talk about it at all doesn't seem likely to me.
