Muhammed Faris Rifqi Kusumadinata was born and grew up in Central Southland until he was 10-years-old, when he and his parents moved to Indonesia. Subscribe to Re: bit.ly/subscrib...
Six months ago, he moved back to New Zealand to go to University and spent the summer working on his uncle’s dairy farm in Southland.
Faris - as he is known - shared what it’s like being part of the world’s most southern Muslim community and how his faith intersects with the people, culture and lifestyle of Southland.

Went over to Invercargill for 6months to work, saw an asian person 5 days in. Literally the first time i expressed glee towards seeing another asian person in my life haha. That aside, great people. They live life much slower and relaxed compared to the city life.

Inshallah I will move there and do Dawah and teach the understanding if people are willing to learn. There is no compulsion and we must help this be understood. That cultures and tribes are not against Islam until it is clear to be the case based on alcoholic consumption and the opportunity that is being made out of it that could involve many families protecting these values that cost peoples lives or simply advocating for sustainability between men and women through understanding people lie and do things in the unseen and that we need modesty as a behavioral attribute to make trust at ease.

Islam ☪️ is a message of peace ☮️ to Mankind , to worship no one only one Almighty God , Islam ☪️ is a very misunderstood religion by a lot of people even among some Muslims , however if you want to be successful in this life you must seek knowledge 📚 if you want salvation in the hereafter ( day of judgement ) you must seek knowledge 📚 and if you want them both ( this life & the hereafter ) you must seek knowledge 📚, however Knowledge does not give you some of it unless you give it all of you , I heard NewZealand is a beautiful place , thanks 🙏 for sharing brother .
