@Michael Franzese One Thing in Common with about 80-90% of the children who grew up within this similar lifestyle and upbringing, whether you were a child of The Chin, Gravano or Sonny Franzese's children, it was I'm quite sure special when there was special occasions or holidays but on the everyday Monday through Saturday and a lot of Sunday's the kids suffered and coped in so many negative ways, I'm glad you got your life together Michael and I wish you and yours all the best in your endeavors, God Bless. P.S. John Bernthal would be perfect if he was cast to play "Sonny Franzese" if they ever made that happen, he looks a lot like him in his younger years.

It wasn't strangers but all our neighbors kept all the children on the straight and narrow! We didn't like it at the time,but now we appreciate it and wish the neighborhood would come back. Now days you're lucky to know even one neighbor! We'd be better as a country if everyone cared about others like they used to! The children would benefit greatly from some of the old school ways! Our jails wouldn't be full,the teachers would be able to teach and parents don't realize it but their job would be easier. It starts with the parents and they are falling down on the job big time!

I just got out of a relationship with someone that has ties as well as other ties it rhymes with mud he’s been in and out of the feds for about 15 years right now he’s in the feds in a maximum security prison.I feel bad and I feel responsible for him being back in the feds we have a 3 year old son with him and he grew up in Staten Island New York our son ask for his dad and I don’t know how to respond when he cries for his dad.So when I heard Karen say that she wouldn’t want her daughter to date someone in the life I know she meant it.I’ve been through hell and back with my ex and I don’t want another one.

What a resiliant young lady. You can blame your parents for all your problems like alot of people do but everyone has a BRAIN to be able to do your own thinking and she has done that with the things she had to deak with. My dad tried most of my life to get me to go along with HIS beliefs and i couldnt do it and we had a huge fight when i was a senior in HS. I have an onry steak that has always been there beccause of that and always will be (now 60) but i have always made my own decisions and always will and dont let others do my thinking for me. Im impressed with her.

This was an excellent video Michael Franzese 👏🏼. I love Karen Gravano so much. Always loved her ever since The Mob Wives. I loved her book. As well as the respect she speaks about her Father, upbringing and the family outcomes of the mafia. She was brought up right. As I could say the same for Michael Franzese too. When people really knew how to respect & honor family. Also never speak ill, or judge harshly your parents and other family members. I rarely see that in families these days. In this anyone could call me old fashion, but I am grateful to say that my Mother \Grandparents taught us to keep family business to yourself, always respect your home, and never go against your family.

I didn’t know that there was a hit out on Gerard when he was 15 years old. That shows you how much respect there really was for keeping family members off limits. I watched Mob Wives, and got a different impression of Karen. In this interview, she seemed so much more likeable and understandable. I completely understand getting intimidated and turned into a different person from girl politics, and I believe her that was going on on the show. Thanks for doing this interview.

@@michaelfranzese I have watched a lot of your sit Downs and I do enjoy learning and understanding things about our heritage because it grounds me a little bit better then when I was growing up. One thing I truly and absolutely totally agree with you is having the camaraderie. There is nothing like knowing that someone has your back.
