On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

The point being an exercise to show India that F15EX should be the front runner for the 114 MRFA Indian contract for Fighter jets. Can you do a BVR and Dogfight video? Thank You!

My first experience with the MiG-29 was back when Microprose released MiG-29 Fulcrum, the companion to Falcon 3.0. The entire cockpit being in cryic (in low res S-VGA resolution to top it off lol) was daunting. The flight model was crazy too with the jet being more analog controlled than the F-16. It could do some crazy stuff though once you got the flight model down. Great video GS. You made that Fulcrum dance.

My first MIG-29 gaming experience was with Domark's MIG-29, a much simpler simulator but that was part of the appeal. There are only a handful of canned missions and you can just hop into the cockpit and play without investing much time!

I was about to shout 'you're going do drop like a rock' when you caught that building with the wing. My father's colleague died in MiG-29 the similar way. It was a training flight for an airshow in Belgrade. He tried to do a forced loop followed by a forced turn and when he was at about 3/4 of the turn, the plane just lost the lift. He was too low to try to recover the plane. Ejected, unfortunately didn't make it. Not sure, but I think you would crash anyway. Great video!

We do watch till the end :) Helmet mounted targeting is far less effective than just using the vertical scan and you do not need to point your head towards them so much or wait for so long to lock them up. Try using vertical only after the merge and you will see the diff :) Every time you try using the helmet you are waisting 2-3 secs of prob. solid lock ! Great vid

@Growling Sidewinder Please be aware - I'm sure I speak for all of us here when I say that we do not mind at all seeing fights that you've already done before. I mean, if you did a F22 vs Su57 fight 4 years ago (for example), we're happy to see it again. And if you feel uncomfortable repeating a matchup you've already done, then perhaps you could alleviate this if you go through each matchup thoroughly: 1 - Raptor v Felon guns only dogfight 2 - Raptor v Felon Fox-2 HOBS fight 3 - Raptor v Felon BVR fight and then switch from fighting against the Felon, to fighting against the Raptor. Then after that, you could do a similar lineup but instead of the Felon, it would be the Chinese J20. So we'd see F22 v J20 guns only, then fox-2 HOBS then BVR, then switch jets. And even if you end up repeating a lineup after 8 or 9 months, we STILL love it, because you've likely gained new skills or more experience in the meantime, such that a repeated lineup remains fresh. That was kinda the whole point I was going for here, is that even if you're repeating fights we've already seen before, we're still enjoying it because you're becoming a better pilot each day, so even if the jets are the same, the fight IS different. So keep 'em comin' and we'll keep watchin'!!!! Cheers, mate!

Who knew that dodging an AIM-9x was easier than dodging an AIM-9 apartment building? Also enjoyed the F-18 strafing the highway at 5:35.

GS, love the longer videos. You were so far behind the power curve on the first and fourth rounds. I was surprised you pulled it out on the first round and not surprised when you “goofed it up” on the last.

Cut a cheque for the rabbit's family LOL. Rabbit's family lawyer Mr Skunk says wait for the lawsuit. I think a Giraffe may have stuck it's neck out to tag you in round five :P

Great work and recovery of energy in the first round but holy, the F18 got some good hits in during the second round!

I watch em' all to the end. I love your combination of educational commentary with good humoured (I'm Canadian, see my spelling lol) competition and epic cinematic replays. My favourite plane has always been the F22 Raptor and I bought an epic Raptor shirt off your merch site, looking forward to receiving it. Keep making the awesome videos!
