This is my problem, I have no problem getting customers, to the contrary, I jave taken down my websites for mpre than 2 years, i have clients on a waiting list all the time, and I have to turn away abt 3 clients a month. The problem is employees. On my 3rd year of starting a company all on my own, I was a RN before, I had 4 groups, 3 cars, and I had to go and check all houses, because they were never done as I trained them, I jad a lead for each group, which was the driver and in charge of checking, they got sick of it, and quit often, because the girls will not follow instructions, the stress was crazy!!! It was great income for me, being a single mom, but so stressful, that I had a nervous breakdown, I fire them all, and I call the clients tjat complained too much to get a new service, so now I do cleaning mond /Frid and I am not too keen on that, but I male $300 a day, don't pay wcf, don't pay insurance because mu clients don't require it, and since is me on my own, I double check everything, and I am careful, I pay less on car maintenace and time doing that, ETCCC...I was paying good wages starting at $10 for training including travel time, then I will increase to $11 after two wks and keep it to $12 after 90 days plus tips. Not many people made it to 90 days.

I hired 2 single moms, they were taking off last minute or not show up, kids acting up, my son has s headache, I need to pick him up from school early, snow day, and on and on I acutely have one cleaner, she is leaving next week because the houses I send her to are dirty, I swear I never told her it was a social call LOL I am very honest with my cleaners, car, experience, and hard work, back up plan, if you can't come to work dont do that to me last minute, or have a plan b for your kids, your laziness, your excuses. The client and I should not have to pay for your circumstance that existed before being hired by me, if you are not ready for the job, please DO NOT APPLY We put our heart and soul into this buisness, you think it is a game, please dont do that.

I love the work I do but I can't hire to save my life! I'll post the job opening, have a lot of people talk to me, set up interviews and then they dont show up. when I sift through the few that to move up, they aren't always qualified. Once hired no one shows up to day one, and to any training or appointment, I'm left with multiple full schedules to handle solo. What can I do? the local demographics are tragic to employers!

I will like to know why you don't feel good about the idea of picking up your employees? I work in crews, I apply the same system as the caller in which we meet at a parking lot then we all ride to perform the cleanings of the day. Are you suggesting to have solo cleaners?

Hey Clarisse- you are the owner of your company! Driving employees is $10/ hour work, if you are driving, who is running your company and doing the high level work?? I recommend team cleaning but the job requires a vehicle and the ability to drive for work :)
