Great information! By the way, what is your take on hiring staff who don't speak English that well? Do you think its necessary for them to speak fluent English and from your experience will this turn the clients off or if they do a good job it doesn't matter? I was just curious of your expert opinion on this matter. Thanks!

Good advice. I just want to know how are you supposed to monitor the actual time it took a person to do a job if you pay by the hour but don't want to babysit or have to be on a job

I just started a cleaning business and it's just me and my mom right now. After I get paid for all my invoices from one week what percentage should go back to the company and how much should we split? An example 20% go's back to the company and we split the rest 40% 40%? I'm learning as I go so I was wondering how much I should be investing back to keep it running successfully.

Great question 3dotENT- it really depends on your goals and the type of company you have (residential, commercial, floor care, etc), but a good rule of thumb is 50% Cost of goods sold (labor), 30% overhead (back into the company) and 20% profit (for the owners) :)
