The oceans are wonderful. So happy you are getting to play, well the girls are playing. You all needed this time away. The sun does make a difference especially if you can get out of the wind. Watching the girls having so much always makes a trip even better. Their enthusiasm is what makes those special times together so memorable. I had -10F last night @ 0300.
