My son has been looking for months to purchase a home in the $250K range. The mill area near downtown is great buy the crap in peoples yards is horrible! Why can't people take care of there place? My son and I are detail oriented and love to keep homes looking first class! We looked at a house on Florence street yesterday and the neighbors crap was partly on the property! Crazy!!! I plan to visit the City mgr to find out about rules, etc. in this area!

This is probably one of the biggest challenges BUT the homes are selling quickly in the area and its changing the area which is a good thing. So if you give it a little time, you'll get in and have a home under $250k and then watch as the values go up over and over

That is exactly what we are doing. Sitting back until something in a clean area pops up. He wants to be able to enjoy walking to the wonderful downtown area and ball park. I am helping him make the right decisions in the right area!@@livingincharlottenorthcarolina

Is Kannapolis a diverse city?

It certainly is. Most of the areas surrounding Charlotte are very diverse. Higher populations of minority groups than the US percentages

A suburb a Charlotte, but Kannapolis is really a nice town. It is also in Cabarrus County. They said some of it city limits is in Rowan County. The US Census Bureau of 2022says Kannapolis 55,448 now.
