Yeah.. the CEO and CFO literally just told their investors that monetization efforts are failing and they need to rebuild the player base and improve retention; they lowered projected profits and told investors (who they work for) that the next 18ish months will see weak profits/no profit-growth because they are investing in the gameplay/user experience. We've been lied to (at least misled) before but lying to their investors is a whole different thing (it's possible, but highly unlikely, that they were blowing smoke so I'll stay cautiously optimistic)

I had a pack that had the "spark" icon on it, when I opened it it never counted on the spark meter. Good job Respawn! Plus you only get the spark icon on packs you've bought, NOT packs you've earned/won

One of 2 things I noticed about OG apex was that caustic and Watson are pick-able legends. Don't think those count as OG, but other than that, I am having so much fun with the new (old) regions that kinda give me a sense of nostalgia, old skull town, slums, Lifeline wall res, longbow/wingman/spitfire being heavy, old gold equipment abilities and more, this was definitely a blast to the past. Not even gonna bother bringing up the cash grab stores since everyone agrees they suck except the minority of whales (you know who you are) that feed in to it, but the OG game mode definitely knocked it out of the park for me, 10/10 LTM

Am I the only one who gets mostly craftings when opening all packs? I had 30 packs, opened 10 seperatly and got two legendary frames and useless rare stuff, and I opened the other 20 packs all at once, where I got only one legendary (craftings btw lol) and the rest mostly craftings aswell

I have been watching you for a while man, its been a pleasure! Just wanted to let you know my experience with the new update. I came to watch my daily dose of happiness just to learn that the KARAMBIT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOREVER IN THE SHOP. No more limited items I guess. I spent my 15K crafting material (Took 4 years to gather) on this event. I spent 1.5K coins left over from previous battle passes on this event. Now I am not going to bather spending the extra £150 or so to buy it.(Maybe my fault depending from where you look at it) I am so disappointed with the way Apex Legends is handling the monetization methods. I am so close just wishing EA their demise and the shut down of one of my fav games of all times(~1.5K hours across Steam & EA) Bad stuff aside, I do like how they brought back some free packs and other improvements, however its nowhere near where I would say apex is on track to at least stop losing players.

I have this analysis that people don't like radical changes .Alot of games stay the same Valo ,CSGO ,PUBG ,dota etc people like the things they get accustomed to . @ I mean honestly.. still, pwrsonally its just lazy work.. Changing map to Season 0? Matter of Seconds. Adjusting the variables (eg, damage, shooting speed, etc) - matter of minutes. Editing lootpool so only season 0 are available? Again, matter of minutes. Seriously, the fact that even the "bugs" from season 0 are present makes me feel they just copy pasted the old code. Ngl, even the trailer when you launch the game is just copy pasted.. They could have put effort in it like "eyo, we went through time and now everything is season 0". Idk, for me this just feels lazy af.
