@@reviewreaper8508 well if you like mobas, 'being forced to play X', could mean that your own moba is so unpopular that you would be wasting your time trying to get a match. even a few years ago before hots was officially over, i wanted to give it a chance, but i just couldn't, because matchmaking couldnt find matches on a casual night. a game that you can actually play becomes a better one automatically.

For champions with vector casting (Viktor, Taliyah, Rumble) I highly recommend using the newly added "Clamp Cast Target Location Within Max Range." function. It's in the game Options>Game>Gameplay (all the way down). It removes the jankiness of using your Viktor laser!

When you play Viktor and have your E upgraded: Don't just laser the wave as soon as you see it. Wait for it to neatly position, so you only need one laser to kill all the caster minions. You can shove much faster like that.

using just one upgraded viktor laser to farm a single wave is always fun. hes really good at poking out carrys too even before a teamfight starts. He has a nice skill cap aspect in that landing more cs and kills grants a faster-upgraded ability set. Lastly I think i like viktor's play style since you can use his laser while moving or running away unlike other abilities in the game which require you to stand still or complete a charge time. for example : Malz ult cant be cast while moving, ezreal q requires ez to charge briefly etc.

This game was not even at all, their team was getting rekt everywhere. Score was like 32 - 11 at 20m mark, that's pretty much game over already. Rarely are games even at this rating.

Grubby, when you play range vs melee, you need to harass your opponent more, don't let him free farm. You can harass him to the point he can't even get into XP range. Your Auto attack is very very strong early game as a range champ, stronger than any abilities, that's why melee top laners hate ranged champs more than anything

All his coaches keep telling him how important lvl 2 and 3 level spikes are so that's why he keeps auto-ing minions, and it is in high elo. But in low elo people rarely punish lvl 2 to 1 or lvl 3 to 2 for all-in kills. It's better to just focus on last hitting, harassing, and landing/dodging skillshots at his elo and go for kills 6+ when you have full kits.

@@clrdr7 No, its relevant in every elo. You dont have to all-in, you get lvl 2 first and posture aggressively to make the opponent miss cs.

And what good does posturing do if the opponent is too dumb to even realize WHY you're posturing and just continues playing normally? And as soon as your melee creep dies they'll be 2 too, and the window is gone. It's really not as exploitable as you think at this elo where people don't even know the fundamentals.

@@clrdr7 Well, I kinda agree that first level up punishment is hard to execute in low elo. I think most people will agree that when they start playing, the common mindset when playing ranged vs melee is to; Melee - stay away from the minions, only walk up to last hitting or using abilities to CS and save your HP as much as possible Range - harass your opponent as much as possible using AA and abilities, sometime even better to lose your CS just to zone away your opponent out of XP range This Yone don't know how to laning at all, he walked so deep and should be punished hard

@@testbug01 Yeah and Grubby could have not only punished her hard but also made Lee Sin waste time helping mid. He could have played both safe and aggressively. He instead went very safe early on and gave away his advantage, but then went aggressive after Lee Sin already showed to be mid and tried to 1v2 a few times and didn't get anything out of it. Then during his death timer Lee was able to get back lost time by ganking other lanes and essentially that was what gave the enemy team a big lead. I think ranged punishing melee the proper way (not just going all in for kill) is the biggest thing separating noobs from pros. You see a lot of twitch streamers who go for kills because it's flashy and makes for good content, but in reality you don't play like that if you want to win.

You could actually stomp a vast amount of these games by sidestepping a single ability from many of these guys. For instance if you move around left and right and try to predict Lee Sin soundwave, he actually doesn't kill you here.

Dunno if you want tips but I'll write some observations Level 1 you're stronger and you probably want to quite literally walk up and try to auto-Q-auto this guy in the face, especially when having Aery - he doesn't have W shield yet and his Q is quite low range You had a bunch of time early when he was low and you could either snipe and kill him with laser (you were understanding range) or laser + Flash + Q League is a target practice game anyways, especially in normals Last but not least - Lich Bane is NOT a real damage item on this patch (and for multiple last years) - other items offer lots more damage and/or utility You basically only build Lich Bane when you already overkill and wanna get movespeed for style points (although there's a better item for that also called Cosmic Drive which you can build before/instead) Basically you can go like Luden's -> Shadow Flame -> Dearhcap into squishes or Liandry's -> Cosmic Drive -> Void Staff -> Death Cap into tanks (or into MR items in general), something like that Lich Bane you can go whenever you're literally 20-0 and wanna smite people with Q-auto (it probably wouldn't be optimal even then) Riot keep suggesting bad items and skill points but it's OK they're Clueless

This was a pretty nice game from you. If you are wanting areas to look to improve i would suggest trying to move around in fights more. League's 0 turn rate makes kiting incredibly effective and can enable you to remain safer in some of these fights.

Damage graph is kind of toxic. It just encourages people being selfish and blaming teammate for "weak performance" when they lose. Getting high damage means nothing if your team loses.

Check ad stats every level up when not under pressure and cs better for burstier csing later. Hots is easiest because you are always relative when you're supposed to be behind because of poor cs on global metrics.

In the mid and late game, I noticed that you were hit by Lee Sin's Q quite a few times. The main goal when playing against Lee has got to be to dodge his Q because that's his gap closer. He can't do much if he doesn't connect his Q.

Good game, good effort If you're losing and you're playing mage, you should really stick to the lane to avoid getting ganked (most of the time your team lacks vision, so it's super risky to leave lane) and also stick with your team for teamfights, it makes a huge difference when there's a frontlaner taking the hits for you and CC'ing the enemy.

The thing about banning a player for picking a champ in offrole had something to do with that one controversial dev grubby watched a video on. It is not a thing that should ever happen in isolation (obviously if you're doing it as part of inting it is bannable, but it's because of the inting rather than the champ pick).

If I have any advice to give here it's that you use autoattacks as a mage way too much in these late game fights. They do no damage and are just locking you in place, you're more or less choosing to root yourself and make it really easy for everyone to land all their damage on you. I think it's a dota mindset where every hero's autos scale to some degree and an INT hero with a bunch of INT items autoing can be the difference, plus it's not as crucial to be contantly moving because there aren't 80,000 skillshots to dodge - but when you're a Viktor with 300 AP in league your autos do nothing outside of getting your one proc and the whole reason it gives movespeed and a shield is so you can use it and then run away. Way too much time spent standing in melee distance of lee and shyvana trading hits.

They never ban people for troll picks...but back in the days of the Tribunal, Evelynn was such a bad champion at a point in time, that you would get reported for ever picking it, and then you'd get banned for it because the Tribunal was players voting on reports.

% pen against against 0 MR items enemies?? When they have Conq Gore Lee, Conq Shyvana and probably lifesteal in Yones runes with 2 Ocean Drakes + Ocean Soul?! Ludens already gives him penetration. So even Shadowflame could be overkill. Atleast one person should get Anti-heal, and since Viktor has the most AoE on his team, it fits. Either you didn't think or you're the troll.

Sure, if the enemy plays right the button for surrender makes sense for me, but that will not happen in this lvl of playing. They just new players. And still I feel like you need to be on very high level of playing to really know where there is no way to win. Even though on high level it's not chess, there is more complexity, so it not gonna be 100%. Any way that button is so bad for new players

Please Grubby, try some Bot games as Warmup. Try hunt for exp and gold amd domilish bots. as in Speedrunning playing mid/any hero. get 150 cs and around 15 kills at 17-20 min. try items and feel like its and open learning gate for experiements.
