It's pretty rough to get back into it if you're not that experienced. In my 2nd game back to playing, I played against the 3rd highest ranked player on the server (US East) and I just absolutely demolished. Given that my account has a total of 3 ladder games on it, I can't quite understand why I was put up against them. Felt like there just wasn't enough players queuing since I had to wait around 10 minutes to find a 1v1 match and the skill levels were clearly not even in the matches I found. Matchmaking might be a little bit better in the Europe server since there seems to be more active players there, though.

Normally in other RTS the game makes you play about 10 games against various random opponents. In these matches the game tries to allot a standing which gives you opponents of your skill. So the first couple games can be bullshit indeed before you start to see equally skilled opponenets.

After amazing start NE stopped scouting, let his exp be destroyed + 2 wisp and them be fooled by necros + wagons? Not mention that he literally stopped harassing with Intel hero...

It also seemed like NE let Grubby catch up by letting him get so much creeping there in the midgame (around 8:00). NE even spotted Grubb creeping at 9:47 and stopped to kill a meat wagon instead of making a B-line to the base or catching undead stuck between creeps. IDK, though. I could be wrong about not stopping to kill the wagon, but it seems like that was around when Grubb caught up after killing that expansion.

A lot of dryads :/ Grubby didn't have that many wagons yet, but even still, dryads pop so quickly. I like that Sonic guys approach over this one: a couple of dryads for the slow and occasionally abolish, otherwise heavier on the archers. Though with that lich, I think he was dead either way.

Wow when did grubby get so good at ud? Apart from the early game and lack of scouting from necro summons and playing the game blind, the micro and nail biting last fight was great. Lich was a monster indeed with unholy aura. This strat works great with solo dread lord too, you get infernal in no time and just a move your army wisps are so fragile to use in battle make NE feel how UD feel for ages now lol

Early game , enemy of grubby did pretty good coming out of nowhere , but he made 2 mistakes : First he let grubby destroy his expansion for free , and he attacked his base with weaker troops , allowing grubby to take out few of them. Game was lost afterwards.

Ghouls r pretty good in this game a ghoul rush to the opponent base keep harassing and killing elf orbs or human /orc gatherers they have slow economy build then fiend rush them game over!! Though I have oversimplified it requires lots of practice but yeah
