Hey Grubby! I feel I annoy you on every video, but lets go: is there a timing for a expansion? Its very rare to see you go for an exp in these games. Another thing, how should I prioritize the upgrades? When do you realize that you should go after 50? After full upgrades? And for last, how do you know that you wont need more lumber? Its insane for a noob like me to take all peons of lumber :( Ah, awesome video! My favorite so far :)

Hi Rafael! Expanding has 3 major timings. 1) on a big advantage like just winning a fight, but unable to end the game due to their great defensive advantage (i.e. UD base is hard to atq into). 2) as a fast expansion style, I just happen to not play a lot of those recently. 3) end of the game, when Gold mine is running out, so you can defend instead of attack (sometimes you have defender's advantage). For example Orc vs Hu, last 400 gold->exp, and wait for him to try and finish you for a final game-deciding fight. Or at 1500 gold remaining in mine, foreseeing an end to income and then transitioning over to a new base.

The way he plays Warcraft 3 is very different in the way I play. The way I play Warcraft 3 is like Starcraft. I actually spend time training units than making them fight creeps (but I still let them fight creeps in the beginning), I do not use units for scouting but spells for scouting, I upgrade Great Hall when I already upgraded all researches, and I do not really play using a lot of hotkeys, because without hotkeys it's kinda comfortable for me to just use my mouse playing.

insame computer uses cheats so dont worry about that, if you are able to beat normal regularly its time for online

Wouldn'it be more efficient for him if he just kept his tp and staff his way inside your base during t2 rush? That way he could staff back the BM and tp back with DH (plus quilbeast can pass through your buildings).

Lumber is not a precious resource, unless you don't have enough. If you have enough, it won't do you any good - no items, units, etc... So in the end, Berserker Strength "only costs 50 gold". It's 150 lumber, so don't upgrade it if you experience or foresee scarcity. And it''s 100 HP & +3dmg for both grunts, so it's definitely worth it.

Hey Grubby thanks so much for these. You said at the beginning of the game that you assign your barracks to 3. I noticed later in the game that it seems like your army takes up 3 control groups: heroes and grunts, raiders and peons, and walkers. Do you move your unit producing buildings to a different key or perhaps are you using tilde key for heroes and grunts? Thanks!

That is because spirit link splits some of damage between 4 units so if you have linked 2 peons and 2 grunts and enemy is attacking one grunt other 3 are recieving part of that damage and attacked grunt doesnt take full damage

Oh I thought spirit link was like, the 4th unit that has been spirit linked will be the one who will take FULL damage, like if there are unit that is low health, just spirit link it with the other units that have full health, so the unit that has full health will remain the low health alive, but I was wrong.
