Wouldnt you say going againts the AI with farseer is quite a bit more easier than with other heroes? So it kind of rings hollow in that sense. Water ele or other summoners would probably be much less effective

Nice Grubby! I can barely beat the Easy AI, but by meticulously studying your gameplay in around 3-4 years I stand a chance of beating the Normal AI, thanks for the video!

My dad used to play skirmish offline for hours. Dominating seven enemies but not as fast. He often plays till 3 AM in the morning. Resulting in a back injury. Miss those days

l couldn't even defeat ai with 70% health. My heroes go in front and die so fast despite after keeping them a bit far from battle. l select a troop for my troops to focus on it but they either get stuck or target other units. l need to learn more :(

​​@@pizzaforever69dont use right-click on enemy unit when starting a battle. Use attack move (shortened to a-move by players) by clicking attack (preferably hotkey) and left-click on the ground near the enemy. This will make your units move and attack the nearest unit they can attack (so range will stay behind while melee go forward). This also help your formation stay intact, not chasing a running unit deep into their formation to attack. Then you can start micro-ing if you want to focus fire with your specific units, and micro heroes with f1 f2 f3.

Lost Temple was the map I played when I beat my first computer insane back when the game was fresh. Can't remember the exact strategy I used, but I believe I just pumped grunts from two barracks, putting the waypoint to the back of the enemy base with no micro. Can't remember if I even got a hero. Good times.

Even with Map Hack and double income, they couldn't win. Thankfully they're not AlphaStar xD I usually went for Spirit Link and Healing Ward. Don't think they ever try to destroy it. It's always fun to exploit AIs in RTS games, good thing they can't trashtalk you lol

My ultimate strategy vs AI is just build flying units as fast as I can and then harass their base 😂 my favorite is the orc batriders cause they melt buildings faster. Kinda funny to see the AI going back and forth trying to attack you and trying to defend their base 😂

While aoe2 developed AI that can almost play as good as pro players, wc3 insane AI is full bugs and so easy to beat. Since game came out they didn't do anything about it.

Hardest part of computer ai is that in late game they can out micro the average human , so with better management they beat mostly everybody. That’s why we harass them to throw them off their game. I can only fight computer for now cause I suck at micro…

AMAI resists sorrounds, gets awesome hero combo's , is more aggressive & active, has a lot of different builds (mass air / anti air if enemy has air, mass raiders / ...)

For some reason I think UD and NE is stronger on insane especially tier 3 humand and orc seem to macro slower and get stuck at tier 1 too long

Yes, they got buffed 2 years ago. They have a bit more HP, and noticably more range. They are very popular as an opening with Farseer in all 4 matchups and lategame vs undead.

15:00 Man, to watch the insane computer getting curb stomped in the way it usually curb stomps average players is sobering. Sure, most average players can beat insane computer in the first 10 minutes, but past that mark when the computer has 50-80 army and 2-3 heroes, the sheer micro of the machine overwhelms everyone except diamond-level players and pros. The machine is stupid, predictible and zero creativity, but it's micro ovewhelms under level 40 players. To watch the computer get out *microed* and overhwhelmed like this with it's units getting out-maneuvered and killed like fleas is amazing. But don't kid yourselves, guys: you are NOT going to be able to pull this off this late in the game. 99.99999% of all players on the planet are not Grubby. Even 10 years retired, he is till top #20 players in the World. If only Kaspariv could have defended the Human race against Deep Blue like Grubby did here. I am scared that computer one day might be able to beat even '07 Moon. Sure, because of the unfathomable complexity of the game, this day is very, very, very far away, some 100-1,000 years away.
