Nice job! Just a note on the interior green, it varied from paint batch to paint batch. It could be a bright sour apple to a forest green in color. And any shade in between those 2 colors. Some planes would be painted with chromate yellow where no direct sunlight would shine, light chromate green where little light would shine, and dark chromate green where a lot of light shined like cockpits and other areas on US bombers.

Nice Video. Straight forward, not overly weathered but nicely done to show an aircraft in service. Looking forward to your next one.

Great job on the aircraft. I must say;I was astounded that you got the engine and all the piping together. I am currently building the F6F-5 1/32 by Trumpeter, and the engine is a bloody nightmare. The exhausts dont fit due to being too short, and the alignment is way out of whack. The instructions are diabolical, with very little detail in the pictorial representations, and the painting scheme is woeful. However, the aircraft tug is a 1 to 1.5 hour build and goes together beautifully.

Thank you for watching. Yes, it was not the easiest job if I recall correctly. But I was so excited to have the Hellcat on my shelf, that I tried my best.

Nice build and very entertaining video. I like the idea with chapters, each of them bring some interesting facts. My suggestion for next model is Focke-Wulf 1:32, your previous one in 1:72 was promising.

Thanks, definitely FW 190 is something I should consider. Thank you for the suggestion.

What an extremely attractive model! I'm currently building a Hasegawa F6F-5 in the same scale. It will be overall glossy sea blue. You have some great ideas which have been helpful so far. I hope my model turns out similar to yours. The F6F Hellcat is my absolute favorite airplane so it's nice to see that you picked it for your collection. Good luck with your future builds!

Thank you. Indeed Hellcats look quite effective. I'm happy you find my video usefull. Any suggestion what other aircraft I should consider building?

@@modelfun what about F4U Corsair, the Hellcat's brother in arms? Or maybe what you consider to be your favorite Japanese fighter? There are quite a few in 1/32 scale such as the A6M, J2M, Ki-84, and N1K2.

Yes, I think the good match for Hellcat would be his big rival, so I will probably build A6M Zero. I have Corsair but in 1:72. Maybe I will also add it to the display. Thanks.

I had so much trouble with the engine build, the parts don't fit very well and lots of sprue to trimmed off. So far I'm not impressed with the instructions manual, it's not very detailed and leaves to much assembly details out. I was really expecting a much better kit than this for the price I paid! Just not impressed so far.
