I do not know of any other source that introduces the in and outs of the Goose this much eloquently. Thank you for this valuable overview.

I am very glad that I found this video. Unfortunately, I only "fly" the Microsoft Flight Sim, but this is absolutely one of my favorite plane there. That's why I started looking for a real one. I just love the sound, the character and just a super fun plane to travel the world. Thanks for the vid!!

So glad someone else remembers Tale of the Gold Monkey. I was a kindergartener then, and it left quite an impression and inspiration.

That is an outstanding restoration, that beats a multi million dollar Roche Harbor yacht any day.

Wonderful walk-thru of a functional and prideful custom Masterpiece. Spectacular work from so many. Great editing and context. Must be a dream to fly. Love the iconic grass skirt dancer on the dash.

Omg this is memory lane for me. I used to commute on a Virgin island seaplane shuttle turbo mallard every workday from San Juan Puerto Rico to st Thomas harbor back in the mid 80s. Unfortunately I think some of them were lost to hurricane Hugo. Hope they could be rebuilt as these awesome planes are truly precious and unique. Also remember a disabled Mallard and Lockheed Electra at the Isla Grande airport in San Juan.

What a great video. I'd love a high quality payware version of this bird for MSFS. Thanks for sharing this beauty with us.

Both the payware AND freeware goose for MSFS are decent in my opinion. Sure, a study level one, and fixed water physics would be unreal. For now, the two that are out, and VR, is the closest I will ever get to flying one probably 😂

That is the best looking Goose that I have seen, has been a favorite plane of mine since I first watched Tales of the Gold Monkey when I was a kid. I hope to have a chance to fly in one someday. Is that the same Goose that used to be at the aircraft museum in Palm Springs, CA.?

I had relatives that built some of these airframes.....I wish they knew what line units as they have passed away or have forgotten......... just retired from Boeing as a sub-contractor having just built the last 747 and 767 Tail sections and pressure domes..... miss it already.... :-)

I am impressed that you very adamant on your airplane's safety, did you designed the option yourself?
