I have an English bulldog (He's in my profile picture) his name is Rubin & he occasionally gets head tremors. Its alot more scary for the owner than the dog. Doesn't even phase Rubin but to help ease my mind I give him a spoonful of peanut butter, it takes his focus off the tremor & directs it towards the treat. It usually stops the tremors instantly for me.

The cause is from vaccines....Bulldogs are so sensitive, dogs in general are over vaccinated and most vets will call them "idiopathic head tremors" because they have no clue as to what is causing the problem...too many rabies vaccines and other medications....Bulldogs are given antibiotics and steroids far too often...a holistic or integrative vet is able to help....a few holistic remedies and switching to a raw diet fixes these issues.
@shawnaweesner3759

@@beckykate28 You should not be stating anything that you did without scientific data to back it up. Also, a raw food diet should only be recommended by Daisy’s vet.
@beckykate28

@@shawnaweesner3759 there is plenty of scientific data out there about it. It's not just me who has done it, integrative vets are vets who figured out there is something not quite sound with main stream veterinary medicine, holistic vets are vets who knew it all along....Why don't you do some research prior to coming at someone? I've worked in the pet food industry for 17 years, dogs who are fed a raw diet, and especially English Bulldogs, thrive, while other bulldogs who are fed junk like Purina/Hills/Blue Buffalo/Rachel Ray etc, are in and out of the vet with ear infections, yeast infections, interdigital cysts, hot spots, I could continue on, as I said, do some research. If you eat Burger King/Wendy's/McDonald's every day, you wouldn't be healthy either, that's what processed foods for dogs is like for them, eating junk every day. Ask your vet why a rabies vaccine is the same dose of poison for a 4lb kitten that it is for a 150-200lb dog....bet they won't have an answer for you, not a good one anyway. Ask them why they suggest things like Hills Science Diet/Royal Canin/Purina....because that's where they got their 2hrs of "nutrition training" from....there is a lot of information out there, if you want your pets to live a long healthy life, I suggest you start researching that stuff yourself instead of listening to people who have no real education about it. My EB Mugsy was fed kibble the first 4 years of his life, came to me with horrible hot spots and interdigital cysts, ear infections, after a few months of detoxing him from garbage food onto a raw diet and detoxing him with homeopathic remedies because he had those head tremors caused by rabies vaccines, I've had him 2 years now and he hasn't had any of those issues since. The proof is very easy to find.

@@beckykate28 did you know that a person can die from just one bite by a dog infected by rabies? It's a death I wouldn't wish on my greatest enemy. I'd rather have over-vaccinated dog than unvaccinated dog.
@heyitsmet333

@@beckykate28 Although I do agree with the raw food diet as I make Rubins food myself but I do think dogs should have their vaccines. Especially rabies, parvovirus, heart worms etc. The ones that are needed. I do anything & everything I can to make sure my boy is as healthy as can be. He just turned 10 years old in August & in a English bulldog that's a really big deal as their life expectancy is only 8-10 years. Rubin is still as active & playful as a puppy. He's slowed down & little bit & has recently developed cataracts but that's bc he had to have his double eyelids removed on both eyes bc of cherry eye. But he gets re wetting eyedrops multiple times a day & that helps him alot. When it comes to my babies health & life, this mumma dont play around.

When I was dog boarding, I was boarding a bulldog in the summer and she had random head tremors... they’re common in bulldogs especially in heat, it doesn’t bother them, they can still live a normal happy life but I would always take them to the vet for a professionals advice.

That was so lovely to see Dr Scott up in Leicestershire visiting the wildlife rescue centre up here and releasing the swans at Rutland water, I'm guessing. I live in Leicester too, so it's good to see the wildlife rescue work here too, it's inspiring. Sorry to hear the swan was injured in such a horrific way to start, but he healed up well and the swans looked so happy flying, maybe even for the 1st time as they were released. Wonderful. It's great to see Scott supporting the important work of wildlife centres round the UK, they have such an important job to show animals that there are some people who really do care about wildlife, in the face of so many who don't. Great job. ✌🙏

Ideopathic head tremors happen fairly often in Boxers as well. Usually it is not a sign of anything bad, kind of a stand alone neurosis. Most parents figure out that peanut butter, cheese, a toy, sometimes just talking to your fur baby will cause the tremor to stop, though not permanently. Once they start they usually occur occasionally through out the rest of the dogs life.

my 15 yr old bichon does a non-normal movement he shoots his head up and looks side to side at any random moment. he just started that recently in october. i went to my vet clinic and they said its maybe a early sign of dementia being such a old dog. i just adore him and hes my best friend!! i had him since i was a young child and we grew up together!!

It's a good job Lucky didn't die as in the UK it's still illegal to kill a swan.

I so agree, I’m so hooked I watched for hours that I don’t sleep. I so wish I could come over the pond and visit so badly. 🤞 Maybe some day I have always wanted to visit the UK and just because I’m in my 60’s I’m healthy and maybe my dream may come true 🤷‍♀️I love animals all my life, so I guess that’s why I love your channel, God Bless you all and the amazing work you do.

Thank you for rescuing dogs in Romania. I am so proud of people like you that are making a difference in the animals lives! It’s just like the dog meat industry in Korea we are trying to do our best to help stop that industry today right now. Because there is so much so much terrible things happening to our animals all over the world and it’s time to stop. Just like in nature it’s time to stop hunting.
