Watch PressNHNow’s follow up video. He goes to the city hall and has an unlawful encounter by the chair selectman. He strong arm robs and assaults him, pushing him out of the lobby to the outside, taking his gimble and locking the doors. The local police come, not the chief, and he refuses to help him press charges against the selectman. This would be the police chief’s boss. It’s entirely corrupt there. Meanwhile in the parking lot, a resident drives up and tries to assault him too! Thankfully, a state trooper, aware of his previous encounters, arrives and takes the report. He gets a confession from the selectman and instructs PressNHNow on the process to get his arrest granted by the judge. We are waiting to see how that works out. There’s a lot more to this story and I wish this channel covered it all, even if the latter events couldn’t have been covered yet.

Most good cops quot the force. Idk how you deal with it Lee. My youngest daughter wants to go into "criminal justice" & it breaks my heart (which is probably why she talks that talk) We don't have a justice system. We have a conviction system with out of control police, prosecution, judges, & defense attorneys all on the take. (Almost forgot law makers) The proof is in the numbers. US has around 4 % of theworlds population but around 25% of theworlds prisoners. Not because US citizens are that bad. It's because we have a system that makes it far too easy for an innocent defendent to get a conviction and once you're in that system, you're typically in it for life. I hope your daughter is one of the few good ones. One of the few who knows the constitution and takes their oath to uphold it to heart. One of the few who serves and protects the citizens vs creating revenue by enforcing unconstitutional laws. & let's be honest; a good cop can't be a good cop if they look the other way when bad cops are being bad. As a father, what can we do though. We have to love our children and try to guide them as best we can. Once they are adults, we can still only do what we can. I will always love my daughter, but idk if I can tolerate her becoming a tyrant. All I can do is try to teach her the importance of our individual liberties and if she goes to the day side, I'll respect that to be her decision, but idk how much I will be able to respect her as a human. I mean we have to have laws and we have to have law enforcement, but our system is plagued with greed & corruption to the point of it being disgraceful. Keep your mind open sir & watch these videos. I pray you never end up on the wrong side of a bodycam or a seat at the defendent table. It's a rude awakening for sure. I knew it was bad, but never imagined how bad til ifound myself in he defendents chair for a bogus statute that I wasn't guilty of in he first place. I finally was able to get charges dismissed when I watched the police body cam & I had to show my attorney (who didn't seem to be working for ne) I showed him 3 significant lies the cop made on his written report. My attorney called them "misakes". I call them lies.. Got charges dropped but I still have an arrest record from it Haha sorry for rambling. Having your rights violated can make a person ramblie. Puts me in mind of Leon Valley. This situation is only going to get worse for Charlestown, NH. The local council needs to get control of their police department or else they are going to be handing out a bunch of tax payer money for civil rights settlements. 20 years ago local pd’s had their own fiefdoms with little to no oversight, but that is not the case today because of the hard work and risk to life and limb by simple civilians carrying cellphones and video cameras. The heavy handed tactics and brutality of pd’s and Sheriff departments, with their willingness to violate civil rights and maliciously prosecute anyone that challenges their overreach, is being exposed to the world. Tyranny is born neither in a vacuum nor fully fledged. It begins in the unchecked ego of authority. It is nurtured to maturity in the dark bosom of popular apathy and willful ignorance. Tyranny constantly lurks in bastions of power, avoiding accountability, lashing out at those who seek to expose it.

B, True! But, you are missing the point about auditors methods and motives. It's not about avoiding anything but about exposing corruption and illegal acts.

Just so you know, unlawful seizure of your person is already a 4th amendment violation. Searching you incident on your false arrest would be an additional violation of the 4th.

Have you ever thought about opening a second KZbin channel and using the same video now labeled "Why no one should ever move to "? Since suing the city PD is not working to change the bad officers behavior perhaps SHAME directed toward the city might work? Just a thought.

@@WeThePeopleUniversity loved the video of telling story that changed your views on the police when you worked for them. Have you thought about doing some videos of stories like that from your time. Also how other officers act. My GF dated a cop for some time and just the stories of how they talk about ppl, waste time, and such are interesting. Just a thought.

So, that chief claims that too many people in his district are calling 911, while many people do not live there that were watching this? Cause I think that if you call 911, it goes to the nearest dispatch, and not all to them.

In a follow up video, after he was released (without being charged with obstruction) but he was handed a criminal trespass. So if he gets near the chief or his station again he'll get arrested. I think it is time other auditors start flooding the station with visits, FOIA's, etc. The chief made a big mistake, and I think that teaching him a lesson he'll never forget is the only way to solve it.

The callers would have to be from that locality to get that office with a 911 call and I highly suspect a great majority of the 700 or so live viewers were NOT from that local therefore they called the non emergency number. Probably at least 98% out of area.
