True Fact: When a citizen is interacting with a law enforcement officer, only 1 of those people needs to know what the law is. I'll give you a hint, it's not the law enforcement officer. In a court of law there are plaintiffs and defendants. The plaintiff isn't on trial, therefore cannot be held accountable for their "misunderstanding" of the law. That's how law enforcement agencies legally get away with so much of what they do.

The other thing to take away is the importance of knowing the law. Every U.S. citizen should know their rights as secured by the Bill of Rights but it’s also helpful to know when you must identify yourself, the distinction between public and private property, and trespass laws.

Lying to citizens is how they're able to affect 90% of their arrests, and they're commended for it. Why would they stop?
@lenonkitchens7727
@lenonkitchens7727 Жыл бұрын
There's no evidence that he was lying about talking to his supervisor, because the first thing the supervisor said was, "I looked over everything and spoke with our captain", so it's entirely possible that he changed his mind because he got educated by his captain. And honestly, I don't think that most cops are lying when they tell you that you have to fork over ID because you're suspicious, or they got a call, or whatever. I think that they're trained that way on purpose, and not told the truth about the law. My reasoning is that if they were told to try to force ID out of people despite the law clearly stating that no ID is required, they would be far less confident about it, and therefore get far fewer IDs. I think the whole state of policing today is situational design, and more evidence of divide and conquer from the deep state. I mean, the evidence is there, they're trying to set every "identity" against every other "identity". Black against white, straight against gay, gay against trans, trans against everyone, rich against poor, liberal against conservative, women against men, old against young...any possible way they can think of to divide us, they're trying. Why not LEO against citizen as well? The more divided we are the easier we are to control. I'm not saying that there aren't a lot of just plain evil cops out there, I'm just saying that, in my opinion, the problems are much, much deeper than that.

Only because the citizen knew his rights to the letter of the law and was able to express himself and interact with the police officers in an affable and disarming fashion. Not every citizen has the capacity for all those specifics or the ability to socially interact so effectively, and they shouldn't be required to just to function within the limits of their rights as citizens. Someone less capable, such as most average citizens, would have been railroaded out of there and possibly suffered worse abuse and even legal ramifications.

I remember when police would come to our school and show us different stuff. So what happened? Two things happened. First there was a Supreme Court ruling that recognized that it is impossible for a police officer to know each and every lew he is supposed to enforce, giving them Qualified Immunity. Second, the police force's became Unionized. Now they dictate what is taught at the Police Academy's instead of the City Council. And the Police Unions eliminated the sections on the Constitutional Rights of citizens. The Unions have plenty of money for attorneys and all of their friends work in the court system. Witnesses for the prosection damn near daily. These cops have access to attorneys, the District Attorney and the Prosecuting Attorneys. There's no reason for them to be that ignorant about the law.

My private property was take by a neighbor who was allowed by LE to apply toxic chemicals on my property for over 5 years. I was denied a trespass when one should have been issued with exigency. I was forced to flee to escape the chemicals. When I fked I was suffering a full body severe skin condition. I was homeless and blind for the following 4 years. My skin condition is chronic. Similar to what DeWayne Johnson suffered when he sued Monsanto. I do not qualify for those suits because I never applied the chemicals on my property. Montrose, Lee County, Iowa.

@@MrBeevee5 Those same people never object to the stores they shop at recording them, or the banks, the government building cameras, and even neighborhood cameras watching their every move out in their yards, when they come and go, but someone carrying a camera...this shows the insanity of so many who have no critical thinking skills because public schools have succeeded in dumbing down this culture so badly that they are nothing more than reactionaries!
