Even when I'm reporting theft at my store I give them only what I have to. They don't need my phone number, address ect. Any correspondence resulting from the report can go through the workplace. Can't count the amount of times they've switched attitude as soon as I say I'm not giving them that information. Instantly treated like a criminal they haven't caught yet.

When I was a teenager and worked at Burger King in high school, I learned all about abuse of power from the store managers. They were able to eat free food with impunity, and it eventually went straight to their heads, stomach, and even asses. While bullying a bunch of kids. I can't imagine what that badge will do to an ego...

I've got a mate who has always wanted to join the police ever since he was at primary school all he wanted to do was become a police officer. He went through his training and 6 months on the beat he resigned due to the people he was working with were more crooked than those he was arresting.

30 years ago, how were things back then. Here is a tip. 30 years ago Jim Carrey was performing a comedy skit on TV, making fun of how police back then treat citizens. He was dressed as a police officer, and was in the process of training new cops. First he instructs them to ALWAYS...ALWAYS.. escalate any and all situations. Then he teaches them who to shoot at, and who NOT to shoot at. First a life size figure pops up of a man holding a knife. He instructs the new police that this man is no threat to police. Second a life size figure pops up of a man holding a gun. He instructs the new police that this man is no threat to police. And lastly, a life size figure pops up of a man holding a camera. He instructs the new police that this man IS a threat to police, and thus they are instructed to shoot at the man, ASAP.. Sound familiar to today's world.
