And why on Earth would a true born again Christian sing about drinking alcohol in excessive abundance? It makes no sense other than " By their fruits you shall know them." "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruit." Once again, the words of Christ. It doesn't matter how much we love our musical idols, they will all stand before a just and holy God and give an account for their lives, just like you and I. An accounting do strict that "every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give an account thereof on the day of judgement. When you and I and Toby stand before the Lord one day, the only thing that will save us is the blood of Jesus Christ as the perfect atonement for our sins. I don't know about Toby Keith. Did he ever truly repent before he drew his last breath? I don't know the answer to that. But one thing is certain. It's too late for him now. Whatever choice he made concerning Christ is the choice that he will bear for all eternity. But what about you? Have you ever truly turned to Christ and repented of your sins? Are you a born again child of God? That's the relevant question at this point. Toby's choice has already been made. What will your decision be?

You were just a regular guy and was not famous yet. Then one day my wife and I were watching CMT video and the song was I should of been a Cowboy...my wife and I started jumping up and down saying we meet you in 1994 in Oklahoma juke joint . My wife and I started dancing to your song because brought back so many memories for us. Thank-you Toby but most of all Thank-you to you because when my wife and I met you in that bar you made us feel so special and like we were important. I never forgot that Toby and I wish I could of told you in person to what that night met to me and my girlfriend aka wife now. GOD BLESS YOU AND GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY. I feel the same way!!! His music is the soundtrack to the best time of my life. I love this man and everything he stood for. My ex husband and our friends followed his I Love This Bar Tour all over the South East and had a blast! Ted Nugent opened for him and it was WILD!!! Arenas full of people singing at the top of our lungs to those patriotic anthems is something I will never forget. They ran around the stage with arrows they lit on fire that they would shoot at a dummy of Bin Laudin that was hanging by the neck..... Good times in America back then. RIP Toby.... You were my "get out of marriage free" card for most of my adult life. See you in heaven Big Guy. ❤

I was born and raised in Southern California and never listened to country music. Then I moved to Tennessee, where my mom is from. She passed in October of 2023. My new job threw me into the country music industry. Toby was the first country singer I fell in love with, his music. Much respect and love to him, his family, and all his fans.
