harysan dedorito PVT Jessy Halling was an 18yo MP Gunner. We were attacked by a battalion sized insurgent element at night. We lost four WIA withing seconds to an MG pointed into a doorway within seconds. His platoon responded first. PVT Halling provided accurate and lethal .50cal first suppressing the enemy while medics recovered our wounded. He told his team mate's to stay in cover because the fire was too intense. That's when the RPG struck the front of his gun truck and ripped off the lower half of his head. He was at our aid station within 90s but he still bleed out.

Working for a large Federal LE agency, I work along side a great many Men & Women who unlike me, have served in our great military.
