A little more than a week ago I bought a Peacemaker just like yours off eBay "New" and absolutely love it, the time keeping is amazing has only lost 1 second in the time I've had it! What did you do to clean it to "like new". I want mine to patina but just curious to know. I'm now debating whether or not to get the "Peacekeeper" too. Gruppo Gammas are truly high quality.

Please stop promoting micro brands. My biggest mistake when getting into watches was listening to utube channels who were recommending microbrand watches. Lost a stack of money on mostly crap until I bought some proper watches with some value retention and history. Ridiculous price by the way I for one wouldn’t want to wear a watch with the name Gruppo on the dial. What wizard thought up that name? Probably Chinese.

ivan kerr with respect you must not know a lot about microbrands or how to differentiate quality. I’ve had probably 500 watches through my office in the last year and it’s very easy to distinguish quality from non quality.

Unless you're buying second hand, most watch brands will lose value though. If anything, I've found that a lot of the microbrands hold their value really well as the specs alone warrant it compared to the bigger brands.

Ivan Kerr...I don't know what micro brands you've bought but every brand I have is at least as good as any "name brand" watch. My favorites are Lum Tec M82, NTH Barracuda & Scorpene, Gruppo Gamma Peacekeeper, Christopher Ward C60 Trident Bronze, SanMartin Pilot SN043-Q So, each one of the ones I listed are ALL great in my experience, Don't like the Brand Name Gruppo Gamma? Well for one it's very subdued and not obtrusive at all but I know what you mean the one thing I don't like about my Christopher Ward is the name especially where it's located on the dial but it is what it is and I can live with it. All the watches I've named are highly regarded and excellent micro brands plus they are mostly limited runs which is a plus IMO for resale ability. .

Its a very broad statement. Unless youre buying the heavy hitters like rolex, ap and patek they all lose value. Watches are not investments.
