Grutle Kjellson - ENSLAVED - On album art, mythology, and musical inspirations.

Grutle Kjellson, vocalist, bassist and founding member of legendary Norwegian metal band Enslaved, took some time to discuss the bands album art work, their musical influences and inspiration. They've worked with the same artist, Truls Espedal for most of their career, and continue to evolve as a band. Their 2022 Cinematic Tour was an audiovisual feast fit for a Viking king, and we're eagerly awaiting the next album, Heimdal.
As long time Enslaved and progressive rock and metal fans, we are grateful for Grutle taking the time, it was a log of fun hanging and talking music for a little while.
